Disabled brit fears for his life in Thai jail

Interesting story from the skegnessstandard.co.uk where a disabled brit gets locked up in prison for picking up the wrong suitcase at the airport. Must be more to it than that.

He met and married a Thai girl who is living in Thailand and the nightmare began when he went to see her. He didn’t realise he had picked up the wrong suitcase at the airport until he was at his wife’s home, when he realised he panicked and threw it away, now the owner is claiming it contained £20,000 worth of diamonds.

I like the way the article reads, There is no air conditioning and temperatures reach 36C. I.m sure the british embassy are doing all they can, A Foreign Office spokesman said: “We have been providing assistance since he was detained in Thailand in April 2016, including visits to him to check on his welfare

do we have all the facts or just what mum knows, he is not 100 % but travelling alone, sounds like he has been set up, wonder who would do that ::)

I believe he picked up the wrong one / when he got married
