Chinese city opens 'phone lane' for texting pedestrians 

City authorities in Chongqing have introduced a 30 metre ‘cellphone lane’ for pedestrians – is it a step too far in the name of public safety?



In Chongqing, China, with a degree of seriousness that has yet to be determined, the city authorities have designated a 30 metre (100ft) “cellphone lane” for people who use their phones while walking. “First mobile phone sidewalks in China,”

The gotta make that one-way, or build a hospital nearby for treating those people who suffered injuries from bumping into each other!

that wouldn't work here,there is no room on the sidewalks,it's all been taken by vendors ect.ect.
