Heh heh.  I find this amusing as long as no one was hurt.  Thais have no clue how far you need to keep your distance from the vehicle in front of you.  I can't figure out why they can't figure it out.  The faster you are traveling the more distance you need.  My wife has figured it out because I taught her how to drive.

Absolutelty. Thirteen to date, ironically none of them my fault so I've never had to shell out money to some Thai trying to lie. This is why I have dual dash cams front and rear and a train horn.  ;D

I've never had any car accident or motorcycle accident of any sort until I moved to Thailand.  There is a reason why Thailand is ranked #2 in the world of being the most dangerous place to drive. Not putting Thailand down. That's just how it is and I don't expect thais to change their reckless driving habits anytime soon.

Why is it the longer one has been fortunate enough to live in this wonderful country, the more one has to say about its native population. The driving, the corruption even what thai's eat,oh and how unintelligent they are.

must be awful for one to live here knowing that they had made the wrong choice. ;D

Thailand has it's positives and negatives like all countries.  I have every right to complain when I pay Thai taxes, and some dangerous Thai drivers are endangering my family, particularly my children. The problem as I see it, is that Thais don't want you to speak up or say anything.  You're supposed to bend over and take it up the rear and jai yen yen, mai pen rai everything.  I don't think I made a the wrong choice moving here and I'm sorry you assume that by my comments.  I can't go back anytime I want to my home in Hawaii.  It's cheap living here and the nookie is the best.  I'm not here for the killer salaries teaching jobs offer. :)  Everything I own is paid outright, nothing financed. My wife and I own lots of land, we just are finishing up on our shop condos, and are going to build twelve more.

Forgive me for saying this, but when I talk about Thais, I'm not really upset at their behavior, in fact, I find it amusing. I'm just stating something that really doesn't bother me even though I may talk about certain things.  Living in Thailand isn't better or worse than Hawaii.  It's just different.
