Pickup Truck Crashes Into Mae Klong River

A pickup truck crashed into a bridge post before falling into the Mae Klong River. The driver was found dead at the scene.

Rescue divers from the Pathom Borom Rajanusorn Foundation in Ratchaburi Province, along with the Muang Ratchaburi municipality boat rescue team, retrieved a pickup truck from the Mae Klong River under the Chulalongkorn railroad track.

It took about 2 hours to find the pickup truck.

The 26 year-old driver, Sarunya Kedkeaw, was trapped in the drivers seat. The authorities also found her college student identification card from the Sukothai Thammathirat University.

According to the initial police investigation, the victim was driving her car from the Big C Department Store towards downtown during a heavy rainfall. The pickup truck slipped and crashed into the bridge post, falling off the bridge into the river below
Anyone who goes to a psychiatrist should have his head examined.
