Hi everyone, I have just found this forum which I hope will be friendly and informative, I have just returned from Korat after a one month stay with a girl I had met on line, I have been there before as I have a friend who lives NE of Korat and have to say I like the place immensley.
I am hoping to be able to sell my house and move to the area in 2010 as I only have a couple of years before I can officially retire and I just love the country, the people, the weather, the food and of course the ladies.
I have been coming to Thailand since April 07 and my next visit will be April 2010 (my Seventh visit)
I am hoping to be able to glean info from you lot to make my next visit to Korat even better, as the girl was working most days at the hospital and I was left to my own devices during the day untill she got home.

Hi silverfox, welcome to our forum! Shoot your questions and tell us what you saw. Staying around here for long already doesn't mean that we always keep our eyes open and see new things.

Hello Silverfox,
       I too am a new member,at the moment i live in Perth Western Australia but am building house in Korat now,My Thai familly are so nice to me and we have a special bond. The locals are great and i love the weather,i will be back in january for 4 weeks and would love to chat with any other expats or members, to me the beauty of Thailand is the people so i welcome any contact from members.

welcome to our forum! And I agree with DD: Posting pictures of the construction of your house will not only get you advice that could be valuable but also is an easy way to get into conversations on a forum. Please don't hesitate to open a new thread for that like "chrisperth's new house in Korat".

What a nice bunch of guys, I agree though, get them pics on here !! WTTB, it can be a bit slow compared to others, I am a member of a site related to Pattaya but then this one has less than 200 members and the other one has in excess of 20,000,

Go to a forum like General Discussions and click "new topic" on top right, enter a topic title and proceed like you posted a reply. For uploading pictures click "Additional Options..." on bottom left of post window and choose file from your PC before posting. The captcha code will only bother you until you got five posts made altogether on the forum. Updating the same post isn't necessary, just add more by replying in that same thread. Probably you'll get responses anyway you want to answer to.
