2 dead and 10 injured in coach versus truck crash.Pattaya, October 17 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : On Friday on Highway 331 in Ban Beung District located 40 kms outside of Pattaya, Police and Rescue services rushed to the scene of a fatal road crash involving an 18-wheel truck and a coach transporting members of the public from
Korat Province to Rayong Province. An explosion took place after the coach collided with the truck. 2 customers inside the coach were burnt alive while a further 10 customers were badly injured. The driver of the coach decided to flee from the scene before authorities arrived. Witnesses confirmed the coach was being driven erratically and customers who were able to escape from the burning vehicle claimed an accident was inevitable. The Coach Company are now assisting Police in locating the driver who will be charged with reckless driving causing death when he is eventually caught.
