Taser, I've actually met some of these people in real life and they act totally different when you see them face to face. It's almost like nothing ever happened. Hiding behind a keyboard gives some of them a sense of safety and security without the confrontation. Let me give you an example. There is a user here who tries to make attacks at me. He's even made attacks in reference to physical appearances of people (This is usually the type of behavior exhibited by an 8 year old)....yet this person is probably in his early 60's and a teacher. Can you believe that? I saw him a few weeks ago at a local restaurant and as usual he smiles and says hello to me like nothing has taken place. Within a day or so after that, he comes back here and tries to insult me.

. Even his fellow co-workers have given him the nickname as "Korat's Oldest Teenager." I guess some people get older, but refuse to grow up.
Turdburner...Love that nickname

. I couldn't agree with you more. When I go to an ATM I never take out an even amount of money.. say 5,000 baht. I'll take out 4,900 baht just so I can have some small change. Aside from a 7-11, try purchasing a bottle of water at a local mom and pop shop and pay for it with a 1,000 note. "No have change" is the typical outcome.
I feel sorry for that Andy guy getting crucified by everyone...most of them "heard" the story from someone who in turn heard it from someone else. For F..K sake, give the poor guy a break. I've never had a problem getting a letter of residency and neither did my colleague who also got his a few weeks back when everyone on KF was saying you couldn't get one. I'd rather have no information than information that is inaccurate.
Someone should start a new section on a forum and call it the "Piss, Whine, and Moan" section. Really, some of these poor souls talk about how wonderful Korat is and that there is never a dull moment here...how beautiful it is...so much to do here. Bull..t. Just take a look at how much time some of these folks spend on the forums, checking them every hour, some never logging off, never leaving the house except to drink a coffee at The Mall. Maybe, someone should start a bingo night or something for these poor saps. I don't know.. maybe some board games or something would be a step in the right direction to get them unglued from the monitor.
