Title: New Forum in Korat
Post by: Jazz on April 27, 2011, 11:42:43 AM
Some offers for koratfarang.com but none accepted. Question is, why buy it? Just start a new one! Like this,,,, korat-farang.com   ;D
More choice for the expat community.

Hope you don't mind the link, JohnnieF.

Link deactivated by admin on 7/19/2013 due to the criminal activity directed at this site by the owner of that linked site.

Interesting, Jazz! But you should have named that folder "board" instead of "forum", so moving from that "site on sale" to the new alternative were easier. So one just needed to insert a minus between Korat and farang rather than having to type the whole address again

Are there really 800 plus guests viewing this site at this moment? It seems an awful lot. Why don't some more of you join - there's safety in numbers!!

800 is the most ever in oneday, the 400 odd is in the last 24 hours.

Are there really 800 plus guests viewing this site at this moment?

The number on the index page below "Users Online" always refers to the time frame set for that in the control panel. For this forum it is set to 24 hours. You can see from what it says there right now : "392 Guests, 9 Users Users active in past 1440 minutes". That means in the last 24 hours visitors from 401 different IP addresses (+ 51 spiders/search engines shown to me only) have visited this forum. The other forum for example has set this to 15 minutes. So there you can see how many different IPs have visited in the last 15 minutes. If it says there 10 for example that does not mean in the last hour 40 had visited, or that in the last 24 hours 960 had visited, because they could have been the same 10 only that did connect in the last 15 minutes. There is no further counting and differentiation. I prefer to know how many look up this forum in a day instead of 15 minutes only.

When you look up services like Alexa you can see how many visitors who have installed Alexa toolbar in their browser did connect to certain domains. That gives you a faint idea for comparison.

For the last month these comparative numbers of "Reach" are shown there for the Korat forums (in parenthesis difference to one month ago):

0.00072  (+40%) for korat-info.com (German forum, no Alexa toolbar in German available, actual value should be higher)

0.00076    (+5%) for koratfart.com

0.00065   (-20%) for koratfarang.com

0.00057  (+40%) for grumpyexpat.com

0.00039   (+30%) for isaan.com

0.00015   +600% for korat-farang.com (still new)

Now I hope DD doesn't rant about the restriction of the Alexa values again; I do know they're only good for webmasters and to give them only a faint idea about their site's performance in relation to other sites.

If you want precise and reliable figures all admins would need to run the same statistics software and openly reveal the results. Don't count on that!

That's very technical, but I get your point.

At the end of the day the other forum appears to be going downhill and does not seem to be thriving - which is not surprising when it seems impossible to join.

As someone pointed out somewhere recently, each of those forums has a different slant. You pick what suits you best. And, why contribute to only one forum? Do we talk only to the same people in the same place when we go out to socialise?

There's no point in someone complaining that there are few posts if he doesn't post himself. Forums are influenced by those who post so we all have a chance to make a difference. I accept, of course, that it's difficult to post on a forum if your application isn't approved!

Nah, I think that there is simply a lack of interest on the part of Admin of the brotherly forum. Shut the door to newcomers? Recipe for a slow decline!!

How can you say that? To me it more looks like the forum is lacking "interest" for him. He offered to sell it even. But nobody seemed to offer enough to him. You probably have to buy the whole forum. ;)

That's a lot of undying love for a forum closed! It doesn't fit to the stories told in Korat, JF! There are people asserting all or most of the old KF members had moved to the one with the minus in the middle.   ;)

Don't forget that's the figure for "Reach", the share of unique visitors surfing the internet. It's possible that now they all do read and post from just a few computers. Think of something like a collective, just sharing one or two computers in a clubhouse exclusively for reading and posting just on that forum. ;)

No problem here! Try restarting your router to see whether it's IP-related. Some IT-Specialist might be playing games with you, intercepting and redirecting what comes from you.

But but but wait!  According to this, that site should be protected!  LOL

PRIVACYPROTECT.ORG is providing privacy protection services to this domain name (korat-farang.com) to protect the owner from spam and phishing attacks. PrivacyProtect.org is not
responsible for any of the activities associated with this domain name. If you wish
to report any abuse concerning the usage of this domain name, you may do so at
http://privacyprotect.org/contact (http://privacyprotect.org/contact) We have a stringent abuse policy and any
complaint will be actioned within a short period of time.

Click on their link and you get this-

So the question remains, if ALL postal mails are rejected why do they have a P.O Box?  Google "Privacyprotect" and see for yourself how many websites attempt to conceal their online criminal activity by using their services.

Here's an article about one such webstire-

http://crime-online.info/2008/09/a-false-barclays-bank-website/ (http://crime-online.info/2008/09/a-false-barclays-bank-website/)

A funny quote from another website-

"Privacy Protect (privacyprotect.org)
Again, we keep coming across more and more semi-worthless web sites where the domain registrant had hidden behind the skirts of some dubious domain registration service which will, for a small (or maybe large) fee, keep your address secret.
Sites and operations such an privacyprotect.org must be a godsend to terrorists, paedophiles, hucksters, shysters and crooks."

I understand the need for privacy, to a point, but why would someone use a service like the one mentioned above for some crap forum about Korat? The question remains, what is Thaiphoon / Mypenry trying to conceal?  Why all the extra security?  He constantly wants to know about everyone's feelings and views on things...kind of ironic...don't you think?

1 How do I enable the privacy protection service for my domain name?

WE DO NOT SELL THIS SERVICE OR OFFER IT DIRECTLY IN ANY FASHION. The services of privacyprotect.org are available through a set of domain name Registrars. In order to enable privacy protection for your domain name, you need to contact the Sponsoring Registrar and ask them if they provide the service. You can find the Sponsoring Registrar by performing a whois lookup for your domain name
.

Who pays them?....the "sponsoring registrar whoIS probably a member of their staff.

2 How much do you charge for this service?

This service is provided free of cost. No payments are to be made to PrivacyProtect.org for the service.

How do they stay in business?  Notice the directive, "No payments ARE to be made to PP.org."  Oh?  Why not?  You need to pay the "Sponsoring Registrar" whoIS actually employed by them.

3 I would like to get in touch with the owner of a domain name, but the whois information shows PrivacyProtect.org.

If the whois information shows PrivacyProtect.org in the contact details, it merely implies that the actual owner has requested that their contact information be protected from public display. PrivacyProtect.org does not own the domain name. If you need to contact the actual owner of a domain name, you can use the Contact Domain Owner form on the home page.

Always a "form" you need to fill out.  If the owner of a domain isn't involved in any criminal activity, why the extra measures to conceal their identity?....especially if you're just running a forum like k-f?

4 How do I disable privacy protection for my domain name?

The services of PrivacyProtect.org are provided through a set of domain name Registrars, and are thus managed through the respective Registrars' control panels. In order to disable this service, you need to login to the control panel provided by your registrar and do so. If you do not know how, please contact your Sponsoring Registrar's support team.

Don't you love how they throw this jargon around, "Sponsoring Support Team."   Control panels ??? (actually THEIR employees).

5 A domain name using your privacy protection is involved in spamming / spreading malware / phishing / child pornography / other forms of abuse. Where do I report this problem and get it to stop?

We are very particular about ensuring that our services are not used to camouflage any abusive, malicious or illegal activity. That being said, the service is available to nearly 3 million domain names, and we might not be able to track down every one immediately. In case you find any domain name using PrivacyProtect.org services indulging in any kind of illegal activity, please inform us using the Report Abuse form on the home page, and provide all evidence that you can about such activity.

Look at these guys..LOL.. Inform them of illegal activity, (again using their "form). Make sure you provide ALL evidence so that they can have time to inform their client of any illegal activity they may be involved in and allow THEM as well as PP.org to take the time and any preventive measures to make sure they don't get caught.

Our compliance team will review the complaint and disable the service for the domain name, to unmask the identity of the person who owns it. We shall also forward the complaint to the Sponsoring Registrar so they may take appropriate action on the domain name itself; you might want to contact the Registrar directly as well.

LOL Yeah, they are so particular because they don't want people to know that it is THEM who is masking all this illegal activity.  Again, you have to fill out a form or contact the other guy.

Wait wait...now they have a "Compliance team."  Now there's an oxymoron if there ever was one...and they say they will "disable the service" of a domain after they review a complaint....but in FAQ 1 they say

"WE DO NOT SELL THIS SERVICE OR OFFER IT DIRECTLY IN ANY FASHION"

So they offer this service for free, they are not (as they claim) involved directly, yet they can disable the "service" of a domain should a complaint arise.

6 I need to transfer my privacy protected domain name to another registrar. How will my admin contact receive the transfer mail?

When a domain name is to be transferred to another registrar, the new registrar sends an email to the administrative contact of the domain name. If the domain name uses privacy protection, the Registrar would not be able to determine the correct email address for the admin contact. As such, you need to disable the privacy protection service for your domain name before you place a transfer request.

In other words, if someone catches on to any illegal activity going on, how can one transfer that illegal activity to another "Sponsoring registrar?"

*Called their number PP.org only to be directed to an "Automated" answering service.  The voice of the  female "automated" service appears to be that of a person originating from a country known for its production of films commonly referred to as Bollywood.  The automated service goes on to say that they do not accept phone calls and that any messages are discarded...then the automated service ends with a BEEP for you to leave a message.

Excellent pdf download.  Again, why would someone who runs a crappy forum in the middle of Isaan have the need to use such a service, let alone have knowledge that this particular one even exists?  There are other companies who offer the same services and are able to be contacted.  If one were to look at how much time TP (Toilet paper) spends online and his knowledge of the net, etc, one might come to the conclusion that......

Please fill in the blanks

And once again it's time for an updated comparative view at the monthly figures of Alexa's "reach". Please don't take this for an April Fools special, but the 600 emails somebody sent to the people who had signed up on his website over the years seem to have increased the interest in both forums whose admins were involved in the controversy that triggered that desperate appeal, and caused some changes in their forums' standing. Will that be lasting or just temporary interest? Ironically the sender's opponent seems to have benefited a lot more. Maybe credit will be claimed for that someday: "You don't know all that I have done for..." :-[

0.00132 +30% for koratfart.com (#770 in Thailand)

0.00075 +790% for korat-farang.com (#1,963 in Thailand)

0.00008 (3 month average, no comparative value given) for koratfarang.com (Domain registration extended until March 18,2013!) -

Could extending the domain registration of koratfarang.com be the indicator of a reopening of that once quite popular forum anytime soon?  :uhm

And again it's time for an updated comparative view at the monthly figures of Alexa's "reach". Included now are two new additions to Korat's expat internet scene; koratforum.com (http://www.koratforum.com) is not so much a forum of its own, it doesn't have any members posting. It consists of pages with RSS feeds of various forums and blogs where you can observe activity on all of them at one glance. korat-forum.com looks like a new forum, it has appeared from nowhere: a profile cannot be seen yet, members and admin are not known, in short it's still an upstart.

A post from the "outer internet space" of Korat made me look a few days early at the reach figures of the known Korat sites. Just curious what ails that visitor, why he tried to stir up our apathy. Don't forget, it's the summer hole now. Here are the one-month figures as far as they are known:

0.00160 +6% for koratfart.com (#561 in Thailand)

0.00076 -30% for korat-info.com (#1,257 in Thailand)

0.00085 +60% for koratforum.com (#1,490 in Thailand)

0.00065 -7% for isaan.com (#1,650 in Thailand)

0.00047 -40% for grumpyexpat.com (#2,430 in Thailand)

0.00053 -50% for korat-farang.com (#2,856 in Thailand)

0.00011 (3 month average, no comparative value given) for korat-forum.com (#20,927 in Thailand) still new

0.00008 (3 month average, no comparative value given) for koratfarang.com (no regional ranking given) still closed

Some of the drops in direct access can be explained by structural changes, i.e. the rise of koratforum.com (http://www.koratforum.com), where the activity of several forums and blogs can be monitored at one glance by their RSS feeds displayed there. Most viewed there is the index page (http://www.koratforum.com/index.shtml), which contains the feeds of korat-info.com, koratfart.com and grumpyexpat.com/forum. So, any drops in their direct access are no surprise at all. People don't need to go to the site to check for activity. But proportionate access of actually interested readers did most likely increase, because they're able to make a pre-selection now by viewing the RSS feeds.

As someone pointed out somewhere recently, each of those forums has a different slant. You pick what suits you best. And, why contribute to only one forum?

So, what are the slants of the various forums, so a newcomer can decide which ones to join?

It's kinda difficult to answer (from the perspective of the forum that question has been asked on). That's why some forums don't allow talk or criticism of other forums. Maybe you can get an impression by watching the RSS feeds on koratforum.com (http://www.koratforum.com) or look up sites like that:

http://tripsofa.com/5323/what-is-the-biggest-korat-forum (http://tripsofa.com/5323/what-is-the-biggest-korat-forum) though there you won't get much wiser IMO.

Maybe you should just try all and see which ones are comfortable with your contributions and which aren't. But careful: some forum admins are known to ban members for posting on other forums as well. And not only when posts are controversial to the own forum's stance, in which case you'll be accused of "trolling by proxy". ;D

From my point of view this here is the best, has the most helpful and tolerant members, giving mainly constructive advice.

Time for the monthly comparative look again. It's the first month of the about three months long infamous summer hole, where even the biggest news sites have to survive on low access figures. Just a few regular readers do take their notebooks to the beach; many prefer taking a break from the web. Others who don't go to the beach do read the sites more in depth, so actually the number of page views isn't going down as the figure of reach is. In that light it might be better to just take the number of page views over the summer:

0.0004560 +27% for koratfart.com (#638 in Thailand)

0.0001600+14% for korat-info.com (#1,240 in Thailand)

0.0000860 +32% for grumpyexpat.com (#1,781 in Thailand)

0.0000680 +21% for koratforum.com (#1,552 in Thailand) RSS feed lists only!

0.0000540 +37% for korat-farang.com (#1,546 in Thailand)

0.0000360 -60% for isaan.com (#3,279 in Thailand)

0.0000040 (3 month average, no comparative value given) for korat-forum.com (#18,066 in Thailand)

0.0000004 (3 month average, no comparative value given) for koratfarang.com (no regional ranking given) still closed

That the boys' site went down 60 % in page views over the last month doesn't come as a surprise to me. But Alfie's forum gaining 37% in the page view number is really worth thinking about. Now what could have been the reason for this increase in interest? Must have been some really hot topic! What were topics of high interest in the past 30 days? Oh, I see: a discussion about circumcission with descriptions of members' private parts. Now that must have roused especially female teenage interest. Let's have a look at the Audience Snapshot:

"Based on internet averages, korat-farang.com is visited more frequently by males who are in the age range 55-64, have no children, received some college education and browse this site from home."

Childless, sexagenerian males with some college education in an internet forum of a fairly small geographic community showing increased interest in others publicly exchanging views on their reproduction organs... :spin

Actually I wonder now whether the change of interest from the boy's site to that forum could have something to do with that topic :uhm

Thank you for all your replies. Thanks Bubu I found the forum http.://korat-farang.com. There are a lot of korat farang on korat-farang.com forum.

Was it this sympathetic post by ? that made him decide that company is what he was looking for:

I'm sorry, if you became subject to verbal abuse by the locals, Keith! I advise you not to wear shorts, slippers and muscle shirts again in the shopping centers, restaurants and temples in Korat. Then they won't confuse you with those undesirables.

PS. Oh, yes, and do shave, wash and make sure you don't smell of lao khao. Also try to be polite!

Can't help from suspecting he knew that link already and was just itching to post it on Yahoo Answers. Too bad it doesn't work as link! ;)

I think Keith should learn to trust in the search engines; their links do usually work. :-[

Don't know whether the Alexa ranking just reflects the summer hole, has some problems working correctly or simply gets manipulated again; over the last days it seems to be going crazy. So I looked up the ranking by Netcraft. That is based on internet usage by people running the Netcraft Anti-Phishing toolbar on their browser, and measuring extends over a longer period than the 3 months of Alexa, one year or maybe even the whole time of a site having been online. Usually the rankings on both Alexa and Netcraft are pretty near the same with the higher ranked sites. But it's a quite different audience measured on Netcraft, I think, more people caring about internet safety: managers, intellectuals etc. When you open the top visited sites in Thailand (sites located in Thailand, not sites opened from Thailand) for example, you'll see that they're almost all about money and business: http://toolbar.netcraft.com/stats/topsites?c=TH&submit=Refresh (http://toolbar.netcraft.com/stats/topsites?c=TH&submit=Refresh) Thais just love clicking to "getrich" or "getmoney" etc.

Let's have a look at our Korat sites international rankings on Netcraft:

11,531 for koratfart.com

17,759 for koratforum.com

23,100 for korat-info.com

198,082 for grumpyexpat.com

289,331 for korat-farang.com

566,661 for isaan.com

867,109 for koratfarang.com

920,331 for korat-forum.com

I cannot see any difference in the ranking of the Korat sites to each other, except maybe that koratforum.com is even more appreciated by that group. Guess I have to monitor those stats as well. The difference to a point in time before isn't given. Maybe I'll have to figure that out myself next time I read those rankings.

In the previous years I used to do ranking lists of all Thailand forums known to me. For getting a clearer picture I had then the Alexa and Netcraft ranking combined, i.e. took the arithmetic median. Guess I should do that with our Korat sites too, to rule out some of the error factor. ;)

I really wondered about "Keith"'s desperation going so far that he even resorted to spamming on Yahoo Answers for his forum. A look on the page of google.de searching for "koratforum", I think answered my question; it isn't listed on the first page there. Korat-Info.com. Koratfart.com, Koratforum.com are all listed multiple times there in good positions. Further down the page you can even find the thai site "koratforum.net", and most surprising of all there is even a reference to "korat-forum.com. I think the other Google sites in Europe like google.ch, google.at etc. show about the same. Google in France even shows a link to the old KF down the page:

http://www.google.fr/search?hl=fr&source=hp&q=koratforum&gbv=2&oq=koratforum (http://www.google.fr/search?hl=fr&source=hp&q=koratforum&gbv=2&oq=koratforum)

I love my shirt (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ASli9-F3HI#)

Do you have a shirt that you really love,
One that you feel so groovy in ?
You don't even mind if it starts to fade,
That only makes it nicer still.
I love my shirt, I love my shirt,
My shirt is so comfortably lovely.
I love my shirt, I love my shirt,
My shirt is so comfortably lovely.
Do you have some jeans that you really love,
Ones that you feel so groovy in ?
You don't even mind if they start to fray
That only makes them nicer still.
I love my jeans, I love my jeans,
My jeans are so comfortably lovely.
I love my jeans, I love my jeans,
My jeans are so comfortably lovely.
When they are taken to the cleaners,
I can't wait to get them home again.
Yes, I take 'em to the cleaners
And there they wash them in a stream,
Scrub a rub dub dub
And there they wash them in a stream -
Know what I mean.
Do you have some shoes that you really love,
Ones that you feel so flashy in ?
You don't even mind if they start to get some holes in
That only makes them nicer still.
I love my shoes, I love my shoes,
My shoes are so comfortably lovely.
I love my jeans, I love my jeans,
My jeans are so comfortably lovely.
I love my shirt, I love my shirt,
In fact I love my wardrobe.
I love my shirt, I love my shirt,
My shirt is so comfortably lovely.
I love my shirt, I love my shirt,
My shirt is so comfortably lovely.
I love my shirt, I love my shirt,
My shirt is so comfortably lovely.
I love my shirt, I love my shirt,
My shirt is so comfortably lovely.

Maybe the "people" came only to look whether the server is switched on, not interested in reading at all:

for example open http://host-tracker.com/, (http://host-tracker.com/,) enter the website's url and click "check now". Wait a few seconds and then the site's counter counted your click as about 50 unique visits. You don't have to wait 15 minutes for the illusion of so many "people" having visited your site!

Toddy, my dear friend, it's all a mystery, except for what is plain for all to see: 29614 Posts in 2970 Topics by 228 Members. Online: 38 Guests, 9 Users. That's easy to understand even without a calculator.

Is it? ;)

Is there a way to tell by how many natural persons those 228 member accounts have been created and are getting used?

Is there a way to tell how many of those 29,614 posts are just one-liner comments or plain bumps and how many are actual articles?

My advice: Buy an old forum and merge the database into yours, Alfie! The Number of members and posts will add to those in your database. I think you can use that from dailytalkforum.com. It's even dead for spammers by now. Oh, and the orphaned database from thairainbow.org you might merge into there as well. That would give a really high post and member count. ;)

Only the audience who keeps looking up a website or not does vote about it being interesting or not. Unfortunately those cannot be counted so easily. It's necessary to look up different sources to find out, what could be true, or what just stinks of manipulation.

Sad indeed, in fact so much so that you have to speculate on the how pathetic their lives are.

The other explanation is, of course, rhetorical.............(http://freesmileyface.net/smiley/smoking/smoking-029.gif) (http://freesmileyface.net/free-smoking-smileys.html)

Wow, the summer hole is deep this year, looks like it's gonna swallow some for good.

Let's have a look at our Korat sites monthly  international rankings on Alexa:

149.649 for koratfart.com

273.688 for korat-info.com

348.183 for isaan.com

386.407 for grumpyexpat.com

433.848 for korat-farang.com

---------------------------------------------

The other day I was alerted to this post:

30,000 posts
Posted on July 15, 2012 by admin

Korat-farang.com forum now has over 30,000 posts. That’s not bad for a forum less than 15 months old. It’s also more than the combined total of our two nearest local competitor forums. In fact, it’s about equal to the next three local English language forums! Rock on Korat-Farang!!

Now what are 30,000 posts good for, if nobody's gonna read them? You should have invested more into quality posts instead of bumping the same post with different nicks over and over again, Alfie! ;)

Last rank by measured traffic among forums you "compare" by the number of posts isn't good at all! :-[

Who's Stan?

Thaiphoon won't be back. His cover was blown. Flavour of the day is his Lovekaren alta ego that's winding up a female member who needs a bit more consideration at the moment.

Who's Stan?

I think he was one of those members of K-F, who was posting critically and got banned for attempting to elevate the discussion level of that forum.

Banned? The last posts I noticed from him were discussing the ins and outs of bikes for kids or something like that.

I'm sorry to hear that they wore him out and he gave up his attempts to get some sense into "welfare initiatives". I thought he was banned for trying to wake up people who don't want to be bothered by reality.

That's entirely possible, I suppose. He seemed to be a good member from what I recall.

Stan

he was an exellent member for a debate, just what forums need.

I see a lot of the regular sensible posters are very far and few between now.

being replaced with stupidity and vulgarity and on a public forum.

i read on a forum yesterday that a guy got stopped by the police with no papers for his car
he made a phone call handed the phone to the police and they let him go. influential people
must be a big shot with his hire purchase car what a load of you know what.

being a f/m i notice the silly talk like an old timer also stating he has been here 24 yrs and in the next post
asking where he can buy something.

the classic was a guy called pompou on the old kf got stopped by the police told them his wifes last name and got a police escort or the way to bangkok.two weeks later he was complaining about t/money  :lol

who's your daddy  just my 2 cents     dawn

I think you hit a nail!

Ask why Korat-Info.com, the predominantly German Language site, has a higher Alexa rank in the United States than this forum here?

(http://koratfart.com/MGalleryItem.php?id=100) (http://koratfart.com/MGalleryItem.php?id=99)

Because it offers a lot more service for visitors and newcomers to Korat, starting from a photo gallery (http://www.korat-info.com/gallery/index.php) over a placemarks section (http://www.korat-info.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=137) to various sections about travelling in Isaan (http://www.korat-info.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=117) and in Thailand etc. In short: it has more useful and original content. There are lots of readers accessing the site via Google translator, though I can't say whether they translate into Thai or English.

Unfortunately the English section of Korat-Info.com couldn't get developed the same way as the German section; because it lacked the members to do that.

Another question is, whether this forum here could/should be developed the same way. Maybe somebody feeling confident enough to supply the info and pictures should just go ahead and start posting. More subforums can be opened, posts can be moved. Only, the concept the old KF had, and K-F still uses, the concept of opening subforums for certain fields or services - and then filling them with info - doesn't work IMO, too much nonsense gets posted as effort to fill it, not as information.

A third approach I'm experimenting with is the RSS list we got on Koratforum.com. People can maintain their own blogs, their RSS feeds can be viewed at one site. It's getting more and more popular.

What a great forum this is sign up and start posting as easy as that. Just like dutchy did yesterday

that is how it should be, but when i went to k-f i got a blank, you have to join in a different nick with
a different email, and dare mention this site your out, like poor old stan who wasn't allowed to debate.
which that is what forums are for.

it's not a competition to see who get the most posts, and it's nice to see members posting on both forums
for the good of the community. that's my opinion.  :cheers  thaiga

A big Howdy and Welcome to our friend Alfie, admin of "korat-farang.com" etc, for having officially joined the gas group by posting as "koratfart" on a new blog for his famous game of impersonation. I see you appreciate the theme used on koratfarang.blogspot.com (http://koratfarang.blogspot.com) by adapting it, Alfie. Don't worry, you won't be accused of plagiarism. ;)

http://koratfart-info.blogspot.com (http://koratfart-info.blogspot.com)

And good luck joining the list of Korat sites with another blog! At the moment it hasn't got a rank yet. But as the admin of "korat-farang.com" is attempting to show some personality - though not his own - by calling himself "koratfart" it just gotta be a higher success than koratfarang.wordpress.com or phimai.wordpress.com or even blog and forums on his domain korat-farang.com.  :-[

My advice, Alfie: Cut the booze! It's more and more leaving traces like the attributing labels to your own posts, labels like "anal, fart, forum, gas, group, korat, rubbish, shit, smell". Are these to be interpreted as a sign of dissatisfaction with your own personality? I certainly hope not!

Can I help your PR management in some way, for example by renaming your member accounts here from "Jazz" etc. to "The newest Koratfart"?

 :cheers

You know what they say, JF.

"Imitation is the highest form of flattery."

Is this his way of expressing his individuality?  Perhaps the teaching job at the college isn't working out or they're not giving him enough hours. ::)

What is the most popular English language forum for Korat? That's easy. One stands out by a country mile!

No doubt, Alfie! Care to tell us in which direction it sticks out? :spin

 A COUNTRY MILE

a mile cross country is much more arduous than the same distance over a paved road, with many more twists and turns, not to mention thickets, streams and what have you.

Some people resort to throwing mud, when they feel unable to stay in control of a discussion, having exposed themselves to some degree already. But he went far beyond that, verbally having thrown something too unaesthetic to name here. And it's not even a slight bit satirical!
