"If you post Member Content to our Services, you hereby grant us a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free and fully sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, perform, adapt, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, have distributed and promote such Member Content in any form, in all media now known or hereinafter created and for any purpose, including without limitation the right to use your name, likeness, voice or identity."

I'll be sure not to post or even log in there again. That is worse than Facebook. No protection of private data at all! They can sell your data, address, phone number etc., use your videos, pictures or voice clips for any kind of advertisement etc., if you agree to those TOS.

Wow. I thought this must be bogus, so went to the website to check: - just look at point 5.3, exactly as Johnnie states.

There will always be an argument that this type of clause is beyond enforcement - how can one party claim global, indefinite rights over someone else's work: what if you post a copy of someone else's work: if I post a copy of JK Rowling's work can they claim the rights?

They want the ability to grab newsworthy pictures of breaking events and claim the rights: just as FB/ Twitter etc. do. The moral - if you capture something newsworthy trust no-one and get the money and the rights before you send pictures. Never post to social networks and hope you will somehow retain authorship of the content.
