I've been in this country for quite a long time. Previously I was in another city before I came here and before these net forums existed and it was a place where all the farangs knew each other. One day I heard one guy bitching on about another guy, then one of the old hands pulled the guy up short and told him that this was a small town and too small for bickering between each other. Its true, particularly of Korat, which although is not small it just might as well be, as there are not that many farangs per sq. km.
Why do farangs here (Korat) like to go at one another ? Is it because they have not been here long enough to become 'thai' and are still trapped in that very farang argumentative culture ? Possibly. Or is it something to do with these net forums which make it so easy to get agro without having to show your face ? Probably that too. Whatever, I'm sick of it. Grown men forever bitching at others they don't like. Its on all the forums here. I guess it might have something to do with coming here when they are too old to change... but what a bore.
