A Strange Invitation
« on: October 13, 2011, 04:09:49 PM »
I received this message in my Facebook inbox.

I don't know exactly what facebook list he is referring to. I don't recall being on any lists, and I do not post links to my personal profile..ANYWHERE!!  I also have absolutely zero recollection of ever writing him on KF. I may have responded to someone writing to me in PMs but I certainly have never invited him out for a beer.

The only person who mentioned a beer over the past 18 months was KK, and even then we never got round to doing it.

The last time I was solicited from any person in Korat via my Facebook messages, was an invitation to join Korat-Farang the new clone-alike. Strange that... because my Facebook and my old KF email is the same. I actually started a thread at KF about the K-F site after I got that invite. Thing is, I always had my KF email set to NOT display.... Here is that communique.

Hi David. Sebastian. I believe you wrote to me on KF before. I remember an invitation for a beer... lol!!!! I got a link to your profile by a list on facebook, and recognize your picture.

Best, Sebastian.

PS: I refuse normally people on my personal facebook...just family and very good friends. Korat HAS crazy people... :):)

Yes, that certainly is interesting.

I have had several invitations to link on Facebook from a certain undesirable person in Korat and a firm with whom he is connected. I also received an invitation from a friend of someone he drinks with from time to time. These were direct invitations, not those 'you may know this person' messages from Facebook.

Once you link with an individual on Facebook, I believe that he or she can see your profile and all of your other Friends. I don't like that idea very much, especially as there is someone around who steals email addresses and sends poisonous emails to his victims' connections.
