Hello, i'm new here and not very practical with forums (and english speaking too !!).
I'm living in THAILAND since 9 monthes .I need your help: I'm married with a thai wife, but she's only interested in business and not interested in sex.I really respect her and try to tall her about it, but she doesn't listen to me.I'd want to have sex fun discreetly without offending her.I can only visit korat by day and for max a couple of hours.
Please could you say me where can find girls, massage parlours,... by day .
Hope that i have not bored you , and thank u in advance for your kind answering.

the list i made for the guys was a big hit. thank you again for all the info. only complaint was they couldn't pronounce the Thai i had. well i dont speak thai so i have no way on converting it to a text you can say and have a thai person understand. lol.  well off to party a little before work. thanks so much again.  :drink

falangs? i thought farang was foreigner?

Slightly off topic, but I believe the word is correctly spelt 'farang'. In Isaan it is pronounced 'falang', and out of habit I tend to write it the way I hear it.

It's all good MP.  It's just that not many people, if any, come to Korat for its thriving red light areas.  Pattaya, Pat Pong, Soi Cowboy, Nana Plaza, etc, are the places almost everyone knows about.  Have you tried any of those places?  You won't need to ask anyone for advice as those places are pretty much self-explanatory.  There are a few seedy areas around Korat, but nothing to write home about or get excited about.  Try Ginza for the fishbowl experience.  Then there are the girls opposite the Chaopaya hotel late at night.  If you want a cheap price and willing to take a chance at catching HIV and having sex with an underage girl you can try the love garden next to the Yamo monument. But if you get caught, the excuse of, "I didn't know she was underage" will get you laughed at in the police station. I know of one stupid farang expat here in Korat who constantly goes there and is foolish enough to use that area as his source of entertainment. Word on the street is that he is infected already and has probably infected other people being that he refuses to use a party hat on his spooge stick.

You might find one or two birds at the Karaoke bars but most of them have boyfriends already.  Just watch at closing time outside of any karaoke bar and you'll see scooter boys all lined up outside waiting to collect their Gf's hard earned cash so they can use it to drink,, buy drugs, eat monkey ball soup, etc.

You also try one of the local discos and try your luck there.  See pic below.

Hope this helps.

His facebook page was actually working and not fakery as I was able to connect to it in the past. He added some very interesting friends and likes to his page.  Rajaphat University, Techno, several Korat schools, not to mention several profiles of young college girls and their facebook pages. It seems he has an infatuation with young school girls and specifically teens.  One profile he added as a friend and a "like" was "Teens 15+."  Many of the friends he added and likes were mostly young school girls with photos of themselves in very provocative positions.  Seems he would add 30+ friends and likes in one session, evident by the time stamp on his account.  Maybe he wasn't aware of this.  Nevertheless it is obvious he is someone who knows a lot about Korat and the seedy areas and one who appears to take interest in young students.  Why would he add Rajaphat, Techno, Nakorn Ratchasimsa College, and other schools to his friends list? Also, why would he add korat-farang to his friends list yet, not become a member of THAT forum and ask questions over there?

Max - your Facebook link in your signature still doesn't work. The implication is that the Facebook link is fakery. In which case your blog identity is probably a persona.

Is the intention just to regurgitate the subject of Korat's red light area? That this subject is not a priority to most on this (and other) forums should perhaps indicate that most expats in Korat are in relationships already, and not interested.

If you search you will find there are many threads regarding Thailand's s*x industry and that it caters for the locals NOT falangs, excepting the well-known areas of BKK, Pattaya etc. You might want to try asking this question about Korat on a forum in BKK, or on Thai Visa/ Teakdoor which have a broader audience.  Then you might have more luck with people who visit Korat, rather than those who live here.

But in the meantime, some of us might appreciate some honesty on your part regarding who you are, and what you are doing manipulating forum posts.

Max, some of them go and some don't.  They thing is you just have to put in a little more effort.  It's not like Pattaya where you just pay the bar fine and off the girl goes, although I have seen that happen here.  Remove any thoughts about having a serious relationship with these girls.  What exactly are you looking for?  I take it you're single?

Basement level of the mall is a pub with live music, known to "serve" before serving hours.  Yes, lots of young waitresses, some who are willing to give you their number.

More likely they want your number so that they can pester you for days after.

Should have added this quote also... see what i am talking about here. i am not anti-social, but i find the language barrier to be rather difficult to overcome.

The replies here are both misleading and over exaggerated.
A) There is no red light district in Korat.
B) Expect to pay a few thousand baht (if you go there for a night out) at karaoke bars before you "negotiate" anything sexual. Look in the dictionary and you will see "karaoke bars in Korat next to the word, PARASITE.
C) If you have ever been to a go go bar in BKK or Pattaya, save yourself the bother and don't go to Coyote bars such as swing or 2 piece. They are LAME. pay a fortune for drinks and watch Thai guys play with their giks. Go Go and Coyote are not the same.
D) If you have ever been to for a walk along beach Rd in pattaya at 10 pm on any given night, you would have seen the beach rats lining the sidewalk. Yamo park is similar, but 1/100th the amount of women.
E) "Fish bowls" are of course in korat. They are in every Thai town as is a Honda shop, 7-11, kruntep bank, a Toyota dealer, a few schools and a scattering of temples. So fish bowls here are no different in Korat to what fish bowls are in such places as Nan, Uttaradit, Chaiyapum, Siracha or any other small town you can think of. fish bowls are for "quick fixes". They don't cater for  guys looking for"fun nights out with cute girls climbing all over them".
Anyone that says Korat is as fun as BKK or sin city by the sea is indeed ill informed, lying, deluded or pulling your leg. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D And to those that enthusiastically recommend the places above, well you should venture to more flavorable places more.

I won't go into the great potential of the Mall because we are specifically discussing "red light districts".

but there is no thred discussing the great potential of the mall.... i am going to be there in a few weeks and  iwould like to make the most of it. please DO explain the jackpot that is the mall. please.

Tell the Tuk Tuk Driver -

2 Peace (You might even spot a few foreigners there, one with a huge protruding gut and another with a black bag filled with beer Chang) ;D

Osaka (Massage but a Coyote bar is to the right of it in the front)

Super Mix (Located next to Dok Mai Cafe near the Night Bazaar)

After Dark (Located behind Big C)

There is also the option of checking out one of the local expat watering holes....lots of free lancers from what I've been told.

I've no idea. However, if you wander around town in the evening you will eventually stumble over a farang on his night out. Just ask, 'Where can I go to ogle disinterested young girls' and he'll probably point you in the right direction.

Hello every1!
Last time i come to Korat in 2009, so forget everything. But remember ill stay for fun at Coyote go-go bar a few times.
Looks like i will come to Isaan soon. Want take a bus (not directly) from BKK to Sakhon Nakhon. During travel will stay a couple days in Nakhon Ratchasima again.
So may i ask. :uhm
1. How many Coyote go-go bars in Nakhon Ratchasima at the moment? Hopefully not so much. Want back - just nostalgia...
2. If one or two may someone's post down a Coyote go-go bar name, location and direction in Thai. Easy way for print & take to tuk-tuk driver.
10x & BR.

Continuing my journey through the Korat “red light scene”

Last night I visited The Pegasus Hotel (past Macro, turn right at next lights, you can’t miss it). Elevator up to 12 th. floor and hey presto, a bevy of pretty girls waiting to “pleasure you”.
The quality of girls was not quite up to Ginza standards but many pretty girls available. Slight confusion over prices. I was caught up in a conversation about discount of 200 bt before (or after!!) 9.00pm, which I didn’t quite understand. Anyway an orange juice, a large Leo and the girl of my choice came to 1850bt. I think prices for girls range from 1400-1900bt.
The room was OK – large and clean. The girl I picked was from Chang Mai - very white and very accommodating - a very nice girl.

I then sauntered over to 2 peace for my usual late night eye candy. Sorted out a liaison with a girl on her night off. Will she turn up – will she bollocks, but all part of the journey!!

I forgot to mention..yes, the place around the park with the statues.  The whores have seemed to move on a side street.  It would be the first or second left...I forget...but they are now parked right in front of a short time hotel. Wander around in the area and you'll find them.   ;D

Thanks for the information Baby Farts, I am out of town for a week or so. I will pay Pegasus a visit when I return. I will post my observations.

You are so right about 2 peace but great if you want a bit of late night lurking.

Posted by: Baby Farts
« on: June 30, 2011, 09:19:34 AM »

Excellent report, Aaron.  2 peace is more like eye candy and you'll find that trying to bar fine a girl from a place like that is going to cost you some serious baht as you've already discovered.  The prices seem to be higher here compared to Nana, Soi Cowboy, etc.   99% of those girls have a Thai me..and when the venues close here in Korat, you'll find scooter boy waiting outside on a Honda wave anxious to see how much money his GF has made for him...hence.  Mang Da.  Karaoke bars are also an alternative, but prices will be high too....unless the girl really likes you.

Pegasus used to have the best looking girls in town.  That was years ago.  Go to the 12th floor and check it out.  You can also go to the Karaoke there which is located on the second floor.

Hi everyone. Continuing my journey into the unknown in downtown Korat.

My second night out:

Tried another massage parlour tonight – not sure of name, but part of the mix 2 complex (turn right at first set of traffic lights past Chaopraya Hotel and left at second set of traffic lights, follow road for maybe 2 km and on the left). Not as salubrious as Ginza, but cheap, I think, at 950bt. Selection of girls poor and not to my taste but one man’s meat…. There is the odd beauty to be had if you are patient. Picked a pretty 22 year old from Ubon who was right on the ball (so to speak!!) - soapy with nice tit rub, massage on request and the inevitable….. A very sexy girl in my opinion.

To round off a most satisfying evening drove to 2 Peaces (their spelling not mine).
To say I was astonished was an understatement. I had heard some reviews about high drinks prices and not many girls…whoa there, when was the last time the reviewers were there.
Maybe 50 girls dancing in continuous shifts – 10 girls on stage at a time. No BS, I have never seen (Not even in Patters) so many seriously good looking girls in one place. Mammasan says they come from all over Issan to dance here. Lots of thai guys in there but no problem. Large Leo beer 120bt. Maybe lost in translation but mammasan told me a barfine was 3000bt!!! Later one of the girls told me only certain girls would go out. They will all give you their phone numbers presumably so that you can make arrangements after hours. What a pity, they don’t charge a 500bt barfine and employ girls who will go out - is the 2 peace management listening???
Be aware, action does not start here until 10.30-11.00.

All in all another good night out in Korat – I am proving that there is loads of action if you know where to look. Can’t wait for my next night out.

I want to try Pegasus? and  Pailin Square soon. Any  tips or advice on other suitable venues much appreciated

Happy mongering

Thanks Baby Farts,

I rue every day since my parents named me Aaron - a tad naive I suppose on their part. The irony is that since a blowback burnt all the hair follicles on my bollocks, whilst experimenting with lighting my own farts when 15 years old, I have NO hair on my cock!!

Regarding details of service provided at Ginza, I would prefer not to divulge - just use your imagination.

Off to Korat again tonight, I will report on the trip tomorrow.

Nice user name.  Ahem...In front of the Chaopraya and opposite are a load of hookers.  It resembles drive through service if you know what I mean.  Go down the street around the corner where the park is (suan rak <--means love garden) and you'll find even more.  Would you kindly explain the "good service" you received at Ginza.   ;D

As a relative newcomer to Korat. I am interested in the night life around the city – with an emphasis on the red light aspects so to speak!!!
I have found that it is difficult to find reliable and up to date information on the subject so I have decide to embark on a voyage of discovery – please add your experiences and maybe we can build up a database of suitable venues.

Before I start, a couple of observations;
•   Most places cater for Thais but Falang males are always treated with respect by thai customers.
•   I have not yet found a bar with bar finable girls a la Pattaya/Bangkok
•   If a bar were to be opened, I think it would be a winner.
•   The number of views of the topic of “red light area” suggests there is real interest on the subject.

My first night;
Ventured into the Ginza entertainment centre (opposite Klang Plaza). Very comfortable lounge area. Plenty of 5 star girls available at 1900bt – expensive but the quality of the girls was high. The girl I picked gave good service.

Afterwards I walked into the Kareoke opposite  Chaopraya Hotel. No customers and180bt for a girl to sit with you - I declined but had a beer. On the way out I asked the girls sitting outside where I could find a girl. They pointed across the street. There was a pick up full of girls waiting for customers – no kidding. The girls were on the whole unattractive and wanted 1500bt for short time. There were other girls walking up and down the street.

I will post again after my next visit. Happy hunting!!

I've heard the same thing too.  Interesting though, considering the amount of blacks who have managed to find a niche on Sukhumvit near soi Nana.  I believe stickman had an article about this on one of his weekly postings.  I've actually seen blacks being refused entry into bars.  Do that in the states and you will find yourself in court.

I am black. 75% to be exact so i know what i'm talking about. With all the japanese coming to Thailand now it's getting harder for even the white honkies to get laid. Go check out rainbow at nana plaza.

I agree, I think it's more difficult for afro negro's to get laid in Thailand than it is for white honkies because thai chicks don't really like dark skinned peoples.

Some western bars do have the take-aways, but they are not really employed by the bar....but hang around certain farang places as free lancers looking to make some extra dough.

If it's the bearded clam you are looking for, I'd say just hop into any massage parlor and choose a number.  There is no need to bar fine a girl and take her back to your room as she will only pester you for the remainder of your stay.  Do your bedroom Olympics at the provided facility...

If you want to just drink and kick back, there are several bars here in Korat.

The George & Dragon
The Sports Bar
The Walrus
The Ram
Meeting Place

Just tell the tuk-tuk driver where you want to go.

So I'm stopping off in Korat for two nights next week, will be busy all day so rather rent some hoi than go to the effort of getting it for free. :)

Are there some bars with that can supply a cold beer and ST takeaway? Am I doomed to drink in a Thai bamboo bar with the music going through a 1000 watt amp then pick up a dodgy freelancer from outside this Japanese restaurant I read of?

Can we get the names of some western ran bars up here, and what road they're located on, by any chance?

The "Korat Girls" topic has 15,599 views. There seems to be only a minority looking for the red light district and "non-commitment". ;)

I'm staying at the Chaophaya inn at the minute, last night I went around the town stopping off at the Sport bar and had the run down on the scene in Korat from Gary the owner.

Ended up in some sort of fake Agogo with a huge stage with 2 dance poles either end.

Rather strange experience really and i failed to get a bed warmer for the night. :-\

Any info would be appreciated on how to fill a vacant position in my room, there must be Locals who know.

CSUN professor removes Thailand's 'girl scene' website
By Susan Abram, Staff Writer
Posted: 04/23/2010 04:56:03 PM PDT
Updated: 04/23/2010 05:50:56 PM PDT

A Cal State Northridge professor who published an Internet guide to Thailand's "girl scene" shut down his Web site Friday after he and campus administrators agreed it tarnished the university's image.

Kenneth Ng, a tenured economics professor who created, said he concluded it was best to close the site amid criticism of his moral judgment and what he says was a mischaracterization of the contents.

"Unfortunately what happened with is the press got going and implicated me with human trafficking, pedophilia, and prostitution," he said in an interview.

University officials had previously taken the position that Ng was free to run the site as long as it involved his own time and resources.

After a story on the site appeared in the Daily News last week, the university received more than two dozen emails from students, staff and faculty, mostly to protest the site, according to CSUN Provost Harry Hellenbrand.

Also, nearly 200 people worldwide had signed a petition on, asking CSUN president Jolene Koester to "instruct Mr. Ng to take down his website, upon penalty of dismissal from his position. Doing so would be taking a stand for the protection of women and girls around the world."

The university issued a statement Friday signed by Hellenbrand which thanked Ng for removing the site.

hi there

can anyone advise on how the Chaopraya hotel compares to Punjadara....pricewise, comfort, and location ?

Punjadara is newer and a imo nicer.  I still think Chaopraya has one of the best deals on rooms..and if you want to do some shagging, just walk out the door and turn left.  Right in front of the Japanese restaurant there you'll find a huge assortment of poon-tang (usually later in the evening). The pimps there will be more than happy to assist you. The Siri Hotel next to the VFW is also a bargain.  The rooms are on the small side, but they are clean and nice.  Downstairs is a karaoke bar where you can check out the birds.  I don't know what they charge.

Farangforfun, that sounds like a typical night in Korat when venturing to "girly bars". Really isnt worth the bother. For anyone young or good looking enough, i'd suggest they try a disco to pick up. That might be too difficult for some because it requires social skills good enough to wow the bird......

I did say I would give Hooters a miss, but due to waiting for a friend who was stuck in traffic between BKK and Korat I had a couple of hours to kill so jumped into a tuk tuk and found Hooters.

Three girls working there, didn't see any LBs. Pretty quiet. I was chatting to one girl who spoke pretty good English and she said she didn't go with customers and the bar fine was 1,500 for others who did. I am not sure if she was pulling my leg or not.

As she was such a lovely looking girl I may go back, but apart from her , no thanks.

As for the Chaopraya hotel, I stayed there last night, nice room if a little small, but for 500THB, it is a bargain. Don't bother with the karaoke bar next door, I turned up at 1.30am not knowing they closed at 9pm, there were some staff watching the footy so I just sat down and waited and they served me, wish they hadn't, one Heineken 150THB and if I wanted a girl to pour it was 350THB per hour. I managed to pour it myself. Won't be going back.

Hi all,

very interesting reading about nightlife in Korat. Anyone know where ''Hooters bar'' is located?

I will be in Korat for a couple of nights in May and think I have to check this place out.

 (14.968832487231955, 102.10770606994629)

It is right next to the Punjadara Hotel

Hooters in Korat doesn't show any resemblance of the hooters franchise in the USA. It is over-priced and you will be staring at a car park while "enjoying" the unfriendliness of the girls that work there. No sexy overtone in this place at all. Coyoty is located next door if you fancy that (general attire for these girls include thick stockings and shorts that cover their ass), or if you are feeling a little dirty venture across the car park into a notoriously DIRTY karaoke bar which includes showers inside the VIP rooms ;)..... Be sure to go with a wallet full of 1000's though.

An interesting read with pics about the Slender Club (Korat, Nakhon Ratchasima) and other Coyote clubs in Korat can be found there:

the Royal

And other nighhtlife venues in Korat

Maybe we got some local additions to that?

There is no friend. That's right. It was a stranger.

Korat is quiet. I was asked by a stranger in town yesterday as to where all the action is the city. He was referring to girly action.Shame on me as I honestly couldnt tell him and i have been living here for a few years.
Like any city there must be a red light area but honest i really dont know. we have sexy bargirls but not the barfine type of bars. we have coyote bars and massage parlours but hey if i want any of that i wont be doing in
my own city :D Perhaps he should have asked babyfarts who is clearly single or has an understanding partner.
One step out of line and i lose my manhood. So where is the action?????

Come on posh. Answer the question.  You got one lying around?   ::)

So, basically it's the same thing I stated at the beginning of this topic.  He is way off on the prices of 700baht.  That price would have been valid maybe 6-7 years ago.  It's probably double that now.  Perhaps, he's thinking of the Love Garden across from Yamo and the sleazy skanks that populate that area. The freelancers in front of Chaopaya got chased away just recently.  Their pimps are still there though. This guy obviously doesn't know about all the little secret places.  ;)

I got this from a Thai blog in English:

Nakhon Ratchasima Nightlife

Nightlife in Nakhon Ratchasima (Khorat) may be not as crowded as Bangkok or Pattaya, but still nice and varied. We can see many bars with Thai live bands and discos playing Thai dance chart hits. Other foreigners are not a common sight in those Thai discos, but are normally welcome.

Like another Big Cities in Thailand, Nightlife in Nakhon Ratchasima can not be seperated with Massage Parlors and Thai Girl. For those who want to see a crowded market, try Korat Night Bazar. Korat Night Bazaar, heavily frequented by the Thais in the late evening, is located close to the city center on Manat Road, which is between Chomphon and Mahatthai roads. It is open everyday from 6 to 10 p.m.

For tourist want to try Thai Massage, a lot of Khorat Massage Parlors can be found. There are no beer gardens as known from Bangkok but Khorat has several fishbowl massage parlors ("Mandarin", "New Palace"), some of them offering "extra services". For example, the "Chaopraya Hotel" on Jomsurung has room service for THB 700.

Khorat freelancers and Thai girls are spreading anywhere in the city. Freelancers hang out in front of the Japanese restaurant around the corner of the "Chaopraya". Their going rate is around THB 700.

Doesn't that sound inviting?

Not being funny Johnnie, but i didn't really understand the last 2 sentences of your post.

Do you mean these:

"But in more educated circles dressing and behaving well plays a big role too. It's just coincidence that this normally goes with a stuffed wallet."?

I was talking about Thai society. It has been said before that the man's money is the most important to the Isaan girl. Dressing and behaving well in Thai society does play a much bigger role than among western people. There are lots of nice girls who don't need to be impressed by a big wallet as long as you can keep up to certain standards. The standards are mainly your appearance and behavior. You don't need to be rich to dress neat and clean and behave well. But if you come from a rich family usually money was spent on your education to make you understand the importance of appearance. So many Thais assume automatically a smart-dressed and well-behaved person must come from a well-to-do family. And so is being light-skinned. Most of the economically successful people in Thailand are Chinese and light-skinned. Thais in Isaan tend to look down on dark-skinned people; they automatically assume them to be poor. It's a widespread prejudice.

Does a high educational level of Isaan people allow you to conclude that they come from a rich family? Not necessarily! Committed monks have been educating a lot of people in Isaan and still do! Of course all the schools we foreigners usually know are the private schools for rich people. Does that allow us to conclude that every well-educated Thai must come from a rich family who spent a fortune on his education in a private school?

A dark-skinned western person up here needs to be even more of cultivated appearance. They will watch him distanced for a long time before they get warm with him. But I expect the skin-color of Barrack Obama and his ground-breaking acceptance in the USA to help break some of these prejudices here as well, just don't expect it to be fast.

Education = stuffed wallet. I dont see the coincidence there. Anyway, how is that relevant to the sentence which you quoted? Do dark skinned people fit in here somewhere?

Not being funny Johnnie, but i didn't really understand the last 2 sentences of your post.

Possibly it's by no coincedence that while the numbers of black men on Sukhumvit Rd are increasing, the numbers of issarn women are decreasing.

It's true that the typical Isaan women do have a strong aversion against dark skin. People in Thai society with dark skin are said to be Khmer and looked down upon like "gypsies, tramps and thieves". That's why all those whitening creams sell so good around here.

But in more educated circles dressing and behaving well plays a big role too. It's just coincidence that this normally goes with a stuffed wallet.

Interesting reading that post from you Baby fart, but may I ask you to state your point again? Also, how does this quote from stickman strengthen that point?

From what I gather from that quote, It suggests their are less Issarn girls on Sukhumvit Rd these days, but more black men.  But it doesn't mention black men going with Thai girls....

Possibly it's by no coincedence that while the numbers of black men on Sukhumvit Rd are increasing, the numbers of issarn women are decreasing.

« on: November 24, 2009, 09:14:14 AM »

To further prove my point, here is a quote from Stickman's website from one of his weekly columns. The column discusses late night at Sukhumvit.

"It's different today.  Totally different.  There's been a massive change on late night Sukhumvit.

The women of Isaan remain but their numbers are dwindling.  Where once you'd see a steady stream of white guys, now half the men on Sukhumvit late at night are men of colour.  When the white men go home the black men come out.  Africans.  Late night Sukhumvit is their domain.

They amble along slowly.  They're in no hurry.  They stop when they pass a brother, fancy handshakes that look like they came right out of a gang movie.  Greetings, bat patting, all much more animated than the white man.  Sometimes they converse in English.  Sometimes French.  Sometimes something unintelligible.  Never Thai.  Do they stay around long enough to pick it up?  What are they doing and where are they going?"

I disagree with that analysis.  I don’t think color of skin and has anything to do with it.  Although Thais have historically and traditionally associated darkness with something bad, I do not think it applies in this situation.  It may have been true in the past, but it certainly isn’t today. For example, I know an Afro-American who never seems to have a problem getting any. I think if you dress nice, are polite, and have the cash, no Thai women will turn anyone away.  I’ve not been down to Suhkumvit in years, but I have heard and read that there are plenty of Arabs and Blacks circulating in the area, including females who are working their side of the street along with the Thai girls.

if you can't get laid Taser the problem may be due to the following-

B) You are one of those smelly people from India who don't know deodorant and soap are.
C) You are a cheap charlie
D) You are ugly
E) All of the above

I think a new thread on the Korat shopping mall is in the offing, sod the bars and coyote stuff :)

DD the mall deserves a post i was there a couple of weeks ago, the eye contact i was getting from young old you name they with after a piece of any Farang they could, there was even a women standing in the entrance to the small with a placard advertising herself to any Farang that would take her ;D
