Oops, sorry Mr. CC.

Note to self:

Don't post:

1. When in a hurry

2. Without the specs. on.

Great to see you and your lovely family. You now have your own pizza expert at home! The soft drinks were a real treat for an English soft drink enthusiast. I look forward to some more.

Until 31 March, buy one large pizza (30cm) and get free a can of either Leo, Chang or Archa.

These are the large pizza prices, all cooked in a wood fired oven:

Marghareta - THB170
Hawaiian     - THB200
Salmon       - THB260
Bacon         - THB200
Mushroom   - THB200
Vegetable    - THB200
Salami         - THB220
Seafood      - THB250

Optional extra toppings or invent your own mix.

18cm pizzas are also available.

Top Cafe is also renowned for its very extensive and reasonably priced Thai food menu.

Here, too, are some examples from the Western food menu:

Fish, fries and peas                                   - THB130
Pork chop, fries or mash, peas and gravy - THB160
Pork steak, gravy and salad                      - THB89
Beef steak, gravy and salad                      - THB99
Burger and fries                                         - THB110 with onions and cheese extra
Beef or pork spaghetti bolognaise             - THB99

Unbeatable!

It's advisable to book ahead for tables after 6.00pm

I should add a reminder that Top Cafe offers also a range of hot and iced coffees, brewed from locally roasted quality Arabica beans, smoothies and alcoholic and cocktails - all at very reasonable prices. The menu is the most extensive in the area.

Most dishes are available for take-away.

Nookie Bear (Paul) delivers Western food to Top Cafe for clients by arrangement. There is also a range of locally made bread and pasties available to order.

In addition to Thai customers Top Cafe has a steady and growing foreign clientele and its reputation attracts travellers from many continents who are passing through Pak Thong Chai.

Top Cafe has now added T-bone steak to the menu - 350g uncooked weight.

Try also the pork chop and pork steak dinners.

All steaks are cooked in the wood oven.

Way to go!   :salute

I appreciate that forums are meant to serve as open talking places and, by and large, this one does.  However, by insulting a forum regular's establishment in your first post you have shown a complete lack of common sense, tact or ability to string a sentence together.

Good going for one post I'm sure you'll agree!  I'm pretty sure that must put you in the Trollers top 10 for 2013...now p*ss off and collect your trophy (almost certainly in the form of the abuse your post is soon likely to receive)

You're welcome to visit any other restaurant you like. Fortunately, Top Cafe has enough expat., tourist and Thai customs not to need someone who makes up stories. Top Cafe serves both an extensive Thai menu and a popular Western food menu.

I guess "peterda" didn't learn from "farmer"'s experience, that attempting to manipulate people against a successful business by making up stories isn't always having the effect intended. People who can think for themselves usually just get to the conclusion totally opposite, that envy only exists where there's something to be envious of.  ;)

Then, let me be one of the first to go on printed record with a solid recommendation for Top Cafe!  I don't dine out often, but on the occasions I've been to Top Cafe, both the service and the food have been perfectly satisfactory.  John C.

Its amazing how many jealous unsuccessful people there are.

they fail where others succeed so they try to ruin them and from behind a keyboard.

Who would join a forum just to say i couldn't get my breaky like a kid stamping his feet.

Weve had all that crap over n over again farmer ect.ect. All your doing is making the forum

busy and yourself look stupid. So carry on.

I don't get out much these days, but when I'm in Pak Thong Chai, I make it an effort to dine at Top Cafe.  If you want one of the best pizzas in town, homemade, Top Cafe is the ticket.  The Ambiance of the place truly sets the mood for a relaxing dining experience.  Quality service and quality food.

Interesting how "farm" boy knows about restaurants in PTC and even the days that foreigners frequent these places.  He even makes it a point to give an exact date and time.  If he doesn't like the food there he can walk down the street to the "oasis."

The more I look at your post, peterda, the more I get the impression that you must have had a real tough Friday night before your said visit to Pak Thong Chai, reaching out for that famous food and service at Top Cafe. But still hung-over you must have mistaken the place and run into another establishment, as none of your description fits Top Cafe. Maybe you should go there again to verify your information. Then you could just tell us that you had erred about the place... :)

The attitude makes me laugh! He "will have to" try the Oasis restaurant down the road. ;D

That means for one that he doesn't know it yet, but also hesitates to go there. Probably he's afraid they refused service to him. I'm sure just no one would blame them, if they did that to protect themselves and their other guests.

Johann, if you haven't already got the message, you are not welcome at Top Cafe. No-one insults my wife as you did in Korat and expects to be welcomed. Don't come back. Use your time more usefully and sort out your domestic problems.
