Friday night 5PM on at the Walrus Pub we will have a Fireball foosball table demo. Special guest will be Robert Mauer, who is currently ranked #1 in the world in foosball senior singles and doubles.

And he was the 2012 ITSF (foosball) senior World Champion as well.

Robert will take on all comers in singles and doubles, the best result against him wins a 1,000 THB bar tab at the Walrus Pub.

The asking price is 350,000 Baht and there is currently interest from a Thai lady and a farang who represents The Big Bike Club who are interested in taking it over to use as their clubhouse.

i am glad for Steve wife but it a pity that it willnt be a bar, I did enjoy the place and Korat need different places to go for a night.

I would like to ask if the Walrus was sold and what happen to the place ,is there any more bars been open, I heard the Ram Pub had been raided ?

The Walrus is open again. Fred and Noi are the new owners and a very nice couple they are. I spent an evening in there earlier in the week and had a great time chatting to the regulars who used to frequent the bar when Steve had it.
