PITINI Restaurant is Awesome
« on: July 05, 2010, 08:21:41 AM »
I've been to this fine restaurant several times.  It is incredible.  Everything is perfect about this place, the food, service, inexpensive prices, the overall ambiance, and the owner.  The menu has an excellent assortment of food both Thai and Western. Some of my favorites are the Chicken Breast in red wine sauce, Pork Cordon Bleu, Chef Salad, deep fried Calamari, Chinese sweet and sour fish, Bangers and Mash, and almost everything else on the menu.  Pitini has by far the best coffees in town.  Most of the customers seem to be Thais with the place fairly busy most of the time.  The other night it was packed full and the staff was still able to pump out the meals and service without any delay. Something hard to find in Thailand let alone a lot of western venues. The restaurant also has specials every month.  If you've never been to this place you should check it out. I can't think of any better place where you get value for what you spend.

This place is a hit now and will continue to be in the future. Although it may seem a bit out of town, it isn't.  You never have to fight through all the busy traffic like you'd have to do if you were in downtown Korat and that's the bonus about this place.  You can zip right out to it very quickly with virtually no traffic at all.  Coming from Mittiprap road in town, take the road to Pak Thong Chai and turn right at the FIRST gate to Suranaree University of Technology SUT. Go down a few clicks and it's on your left.  Here is a link to their superbly done website.

It is a good restaurant with tasty food at reasonable prices. The location is no problem for somebody with a car or motorbike. It is worth a visit. As BF said, the website is very good too. My only worry is not being able to get a table if it is busy.

Usually, you can find a table outside. Since the weather has cooled down a bit, I prefer to sit outside.  This is a fine restaurant, not some sleazy smoke filled bar.  So people like John Doe, who was kind enough to share his comments, might feel a bit out of place there.

Hi John Doe!

Maybe just vice versa! BF is a celebrity in his own unique way. Our Isaan pararazzi might want to hang there to get a shot of him. But I remember having heard through the grapevine that the Isaan Paparazzo/Blackberry Shooter was there already and had been told politely, that it's ok if he does not come again.

And hi Baby Farts!

How was your flight to Belgrade? Didn't know you were going. Or did you just get confused with proxy servers again, forgot to turn off the auto-connect/login in your browser?  :-[

Not at all.  I might be flying to China, Hong Kong, etc.,   I told you several times how easy it is to hide an ip.  I sometimes use a tunneling service to get lower latency when I play online games which is what happened this morning.  Once the interface connects, any program that you run that accesses the inter is going to re-route itself through the program.  Would you like a link to the service and website?  It might come in handy for some of your guest posters here....but what does that have to do with the topic?  What was the purpose of pointing that out here?

Do you really mind me greeting and bantering with a friend or do you have another agenda? :-[

It were a problem, if Admin didn't act like a good admin and took care of his forum. I wonder why you would like that? ;)

Apart from that I wasn't discussing IPs and stuff. Do you care to show us where? And you might be told what was done there in reality. ;)

Hi Missie!

May I guess you do or one of your boyfriends does run a restaurant yourself/himself or intend to open one in future and you posted that so people think in their subconsciousness they'd have nowhere to go but your or your boyfriend's place?  ;)

There are more possibilities of course like you're getting paid for these attempts to damage others' businesses by someone  who wants to take revenge for not being welcome there again etc.

But in any case thanks for the recommendation of Pizza shop, Robbies and PB rest as places where one can have a feast too. Having to miss you there shouldn't be a problem I guess. There are plenty of beautiful Thai girls working there.  ;)

DD, Paul sold his business in Pattaya two years ago and has no business association with it now.

Guys, it's such a pity that a perfectly good venue, and a much needed one in my opinion, should be dragged into personal feuds. It will serve only to drag down a place that doesn't deserve such treatment.

Restaurant owners won't have to worry about certain patrons asking for a line of credit either.   ;)

Or a certain broke a.ss English teacher asking me and other patrons to lend him money (aka free gift in his mind).

Just been at Pitini's for the Mothers' Day bash.

It was their second very busy day of the holiday and, despite the staff being knackered from the pressure, the food and service was excellent. The place just gets better.

Thanks, Paul and Pla, for your excellent service.

By the way, the best T bone steak I have ever eaten. Mrs saf was over the moon about her salmon salad too.
