Gautam, welcome to one of the forums here that supports people who create businesses for farang customers!

I love Indian food, including the authentic food I ate in Southall in London some years ago. The Masala would be my favourite from your menu but if you are ever inclined to make spicy curries, I'd be delighted. I live out of town but will definitely call in with an order if I'm in your area during your opening hours. Is your food suitable for freezing?

If I may say so, I think that you are wise to test the market with a small menu and limited opening hours. An Indian restaurant opened, no doubt at great expense, in Mittraphap road but closed some months later. I think that the number of Thai customers was too small to cover costs and foreigners on another forum who had never been there put people off by complaining about the prices.

Good luck with your business! I wish you success.  :)

Hi Gautam,

welcome to the forum!

What impressed me in your ad is this:

We sell less, but nothing than the best

It's been many years since I did try Indian food in Amsterdam and London, and therefore couldn't call myself the specialist to decide from a long menu what to try at your restaurant, so I would have to rely on your recommendation anyway. A small number of dishes to select from makes it easier to decide which one to try. In German we say: "Wer die Wahl hat, hat die Qual!" (He who has the choice, has the pain!). So, a limited menu of items unknown to me anyway might make it easier for me take the step and start trying. A location in the soi from Chompol Road to the back of the old Klang Plaza is also easy to remember and find. It's near where I usually roam when in town; don't have to go much off my normal route.

Best wishes for success! :)

Thanks for your warm wishes  :)

Saf, personally I wouldn't recommend to freeze any food after it's cooked unless it's in a food factory setting.
Blast freezers are best suited for freezing food, our normal house freezers take quite some time and this might not be healthy.

Regarding the spicyness, I can make it hotter upon your request.
Try the original recipe first, as I have kept the spicyness level based upon my knowledge regarding each dish's background.

If anyone can't make it during the operational hours, then please call. I'll try to provide at your convenient time.

Anyone who has tasted Quick Curry's food; please feel free to give HONEST comments  :salute

And who hasn't tried, DO COME!

Welcome to the forum both Gautam and Joe  :cheers

Gautam, I love Indian curries and look forward to trying some of your dishes.  The Mrs also loves spicy curries.  I like your menu.  It's 4:30am right now, time for my morning bike ride and looking at your menu has made me hungry!  Will stop by later today for some take out.  I can hardly wait to try some of your food.  I think speak for all of us here when I say, wishing you success with your new business.  Thank you for sharing your restaurant with koratfart.

Hi Everyone!

Joefarang - Yes, 6.15-7.45pm are the opening hours as I'm just trying out the market.

However, if you'd like to pick up the curries at a more convenient time, you can call me and I'll try my best to arrange something.

Have a good day everyone.

Hi Saf,

Things are fine, getting good positive feedback.

Walk-ins are less, I guess its coz of the rainy season.

But overall it's good.

Take Care.
