The other night we went to a really great restaurant in Korat which had previously escaped our notice.  It is located out in the sticks somewhere to the north of The Mall and is called "Garden", I think.  It extends over a large area with a small lake and fountain.  Dining is mainly outdoors underneath exotic greenery.  They have lots of fish dishes which were really outstanding.  One of my Thai relatives ordered a steak off the farang menu.  I tried a bit of the steak but it was pretty disappointing.  Stick to the local fish menu!  It  would not be a good place to go to on a rainy night.  Here is map:-

Think you mean the restuarant 9 x 9.

Dd I think you are right.  Very good place and well worth the effort to find it.

Is that the one owned by Sisterly bakery?  They have a sushi bar in there as well?
