Thai and Chinese fighter jets flying together above Korat

Thai-Chinese air games called no threat to Asean

Joint air force exercises between Thailand and China pose no threat to other countries or regional conflicts, the Royal Thai Air Force said on Tuesday.

As the Falcon Strike 2015 war games draw to a close in this northeastern province this week, Bhanupong Seyayongkha, the Directorate of Operations chief, tried to ease possible worries from neighbouring countries, saying the joint operation in the air only underscored close defence ties between Bangkok and Beijing.

Interesting Thaiga. Just training games for China and Thailand to use up their budgets.
I see Russia and Turkey are at it - good for Turkey standing up to Putin - Turkey has a very strong airforce but where will it end ? Putin has now told Russians not to holiday in Turkey so that's Egypt and Turkey off the list so maybe there'll be more Russians in Th. again.

Roger I know the subject is about joint flying exercises with Thailand and China but your remarks about Turkey standing up to Putin are way out of line.  You should avail yourself of what really happened before you display your CNN anti Russian bias. Regards

Hey Aussie and good to discuss this - my feeling is that Putin has bullied his way into Crimea and is bullying Ukraine relentlessly still. Yes I do think it's good that Turkey has resisted Russia's repeated contempt for their borders. NATO hasn't had the will to stand strong over Crimea, Ukraine, buzzing UK borders etc. etc.
I don't know why you consider Turkey 'way out of line' so please explain.
I never watch CNN and myself are notoriously anti-war and usually deplore USA foreign policy - but, in this case, I think Turkey alone may have done the World a favour.
I have followed all the details of the shoot-down event as closely as I can, but not through CNN.
Thanks for your reply - good to chat about it.

Roger thanks for your reply.
I am not avoiding giving you reasons why you are way out of line when it comes to your anti-Russian stance.  This forum is not the place to disseminate so much information.  If I were to meet you in person then we would have time to discuss the details at length.  By adding Crimea and Ukraine to your anti Russia stance tells me so much about the misinformation you have swallowed. I have studied the events closely since inception and resolutely disagree with your position. If you are open to facts please let me know. All is not what you are led to believe.

Hey Aussie - with respect, actually you ARE avoiding giving me reasons and when you say that KF is not the place to disseminate information, I do not agree.
Of course I am open to your facts, so go for it !
I do not have an 'anti-Russian stance' and try to take each event on it's merits - for example I think that Russia's fierce assault on ISIS in Syria might be effective and also have some benefit in bringing Russia and the West a little closer as they are having to work together in this battle. But generally IMHO Putin is a bully.
Sorry if you don't agree with me but then, you can always explain yourself.

Once again Roger many thanks for your reply.  I am not one to sit on the computer for hours on KoratFart  defending my position against some of the falsehoods you so strongly endorse. Please believe me when I say there are an enormous amount of hours required to disseminate this information to you. If you want to meet or privately correspond by email that would be great.  The only bully I see in this is the USA and the "Coalition of the Killing". At this very moment there are riots in Ankara accusing Erdogan of murder relating to the downing of the Russian Bomber over Syrian skies by Turkish  fighter jets flying in Syrian airspace as well as against the jailing of journalists accused of treason by publishing the illegal transferring of Syrian oil to Turkey at the benefit of President Erdogan. A snippet: Some demonstrators also chanted “Murderer Erdogan,” accusing the Turkish president as well as the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) of cooperating with Islamic State terrorist group. Some people also held Friday’s edition of Cumhuriyet newspaper with a front-page headline reading “Black Day for the press,” Reuters reported. Kindest Regards :)

We are all friends on KF roger that's what makes koratfart.com so unique  ;D

Couldn't give you any views though, haven't followed the story that much, only know that it's the first time in half a century that a Nato member shot down a Russian plane belfasttelegraph.co.uk

Hey Aussie. Good to have a newcomer around and keep up the good work.
I expected some other KF's to comment on the first shooting down of a Russian warplane by a NATO member in 50 years but no luck apart from good ole' Thaiga.
So now I'm reviewing some of your rather strong and dismissive comments to me i.e. my being 'way out of line' and not 'availing myself 'of 'what really happened' in my display of 'CNN anti-Russian bias' and 'swallowing misinformation'.
These are quite lofty accusations considering that you do not have the time (why an enormous number of hours ??) to explain some 'falsehoods' and defend your position.
You can't believe everything you see and hear in the media you know ! Be it your media or mine, (which incidentally is not CNN, Fox or even 'Russia Today').
