Nakhon Ratchasima drug supplier busted in Koh Samui

Drug suppliers busted 

An arrested drug dealer led policemen to his two suppliers, who were nabbed during a buy-bust operation. Prasong Chimklang, 36, of Nakhon Ratchasima, was the first to be arrested while plying his trade on Soi Green Mango Pub in Chaweng.

Police found in his possession 2.5 grams of cocaine placed in two bags. Prasong identified his suppliers to the arresting cops, who planned a buy-bust operation.

Undercover policemen used Prasong in ordering drugs from alleged supplier Areeya Parinyothai, 28, of 2/5 Moo 7, A. Donsak, Suratthani, who rented a house on Samui along Soi Kab Klaem Restaurant.

Ms. Areeya and Prasong agreed to meet at her place at an appointed time. Plainclothes policemen waited outside the house and arrested Areeya when she Drug suppliers busted opened the door.

Seized from her were 35 bags of cocaine weighing 33.8 grams, eight bags of ”ice” weighing 10 grams, 14 Ecstasy pills, a weighing scale, a booklet of customers’ list and Bt58,400 cash. Police also arrested Korkiet Thonglua (aka Lek Bor Sai), 35, of 19 Moo 3, T. Bophut, Samui, with seven bags of ice weighing 10 grams and a .22-cal. gun.

The seized drugs were valued at around Bt500, 000. During investigation, Areeya, who said she worked as cook at a well-known restaurant on the island, confessed that she and Korkiet got their supplies of drugs from a friend in Bangkok.
