The evening’s entertainment highlights include a concert featuring popular Thai artists, a circus, Bozo the Clown and man on stilts, Thai comedy shows; shop for local products and savour local delicacies; enter a lucky draw for a Toyota car grand prize and electrical appliances. The festive setting with a giant Christmas tree provides a colourful backdrop for snapshots.
Individuals of Buddhist faith are most welcome to take part in Buddhist New Year merit-making activities such as evening prayers and the recital of Buddhist incantations.
