Slaves to our smartphones? New study details digital amnesia

An interesting report from euronews.com that suggests we might be slaves to our smartphones, and they are eroding our ability to remember as everything is stored online, so less of it is stored in our brains.

Across Europe, more than half of adult consumers (up to 60%) could phone the house they lived in aged 10; but not their children (53%), or the office (51%) without first looking up the number. Around a third couldn’t call their partners. according to kaspersky.
Anyone who goes to a psychiatrist should have his head examined.

i always dial the number on my mobile and do not rely on the contact list.
if you loose your phone you have lost the numbers.

let's hope i don't lose my memory  :)
