Hi mooewan,

can I advise you to give another way of connecting a try? Satellite Internet is outdated for private use IMO.

I'm using CAT CDMA. That comes as a small surfstick a little bigger than a flashstick you just insert into your USB port. It's wireless and can be used about anywhere in Thailand. Speeds are up to 3.100 Kbps, usually around 1.000 - 1.500 Kbps depending on location. The software and driver are integrated and set up themselves upon plugging. It also starts running with the OS or upon insertion and connects automatically.

It is available at CAT Telecom next to Klang Plaza on Chomsurang. When I bought mine about 7 months ago it did cost 6.500 Baht including flat rate for three calendar months. After that I pay now 845.30 Baht a month.
