Originally, I was on a 50mbit connection, which was part of a free promotion until January. I made it very clear to the idiot at the True shop in the Mall that I wanted to continue my high speed service (2799 baht a month for a 50mbit connection ain't bad). Instead, I actually got downgraded to only 10mbits. After some lengthy and heated phone calls I was able to sort it all out. Two technicians had to come out to my house, change the cable modem (again), and install some special cable. There is definitely some sort of communication problem between the true shop here and the HQ in Bangkok. Keep in mind that these high speed services are NOT cheap and will set you back 2799-4000 baht per month depending on how fast of a connection you want.
