True is now offering these speeds in selected areas.  I've already upgraded to the 50 Mbit service for 2799 baht / month.  The 100 Mbit will set you back around 4000 baht a month.  If the 50 Mbit proves stable and reliable, I will upgrade to the 100 Mbit package.  Contact your local TRUE INTERNET shop at The Mall for service.

Your still going to be slowed down on the bottle neck out of Thailand, hell lots of small websites don't even have a 100mb burst connection, ie restricted to 10mb.

True..Also depending on the time of day....if the Thai Kids are at the local internet cafe, that screws the speeds up too...On torrents I'm seeing about 17-28 Mbit so I can't complain..Can also download more files at a time now while sustaining a decent speed. Curious, what kind of service does Pattaya have to offer.. I'd think that with so many foreigners down there, that they'd probably have some good internet packages.

As far as I know best we can get in Pattaya is 10mb, thats from true who have a real bad reputation for their services here, there are some real expensive high speed deals that the internet cafes use, not worth it for domestic use though, think I pay for 5mb and lucky to get 3mb, but as my computers are on 24/7 I can just down and upload when they aren't being used.

Three PC's here on 24/7.  I can't complain as when I first got here ten years ago I was confined to a 56k SHARED connection...terrible.
