The upgrade has performed without error message. My browser confused me a little first. but even that problem was solved after a while.

Please report any bugs and malfunctions.

It looks quite nice, always liked smf boards, now all you need is a British racing green skin for it and bold up the text

Have to admit I haven't seen a forum with a racing green skin, personally I think it would look good and be easy to read, ie easy on the eyes.

I think that there's a link somewhere on this forum to a blog and forum that uses shades of green.

New version as announced with hew default theme "curve":

Where it says "Current Theme" click 'change' at the end of the line. Next window scroll down all the way to "Core Theme" and click 'use this theme'.

hobbit theme doesn't work, babylon theme stretches the top, didn't check the others as I quite like this one

The Hobbit Theme didn't work correctly from the beginning. Just forgot to uninstall it. Did that now.

from all the SMF themes I have seen I also like this new default theme "curve" the best.

Nobody chose a theme different from the default yet. Maybe can uninstall them as well.

You also have to be carefull when adding hacks to the forum and making sure the hacks work the same for all skins, a lot of times they wont and you can spend a lot of time messing around trying to get them to work.

I decided to leave only "curve" and "core" to choose from. We'll see whether somebody feels nostalgic enough to keep using "core". If not, that'll go as well.

Once again we upgraded. They promise it to be more stable than ever.

The top might still look a little different; that comes from the mod not being available for the new version yet. I think we can live with that.

And it looks like we lost the connection to the uploaded attachments somehow. Just don't know whether that came from the move to a new server two weeks ago by the webhost or the upgrade. But I think anyway that getting pictures in a post is better using either the gallery or the integrated "media" function, also a gallery, and then hotlink..

Allowing attachments is generally not a good idea as it's the easiest way to run a script when dealing with a forum.

Guess it came from the move to the new server. Just had to correct the path to the attachments directory.

The only attachments allowed are gif,jpg,pdf,png,kmz

Guess it checks only the ending of the file name, not the real format.

Real pdf files it still cannot display. Or my browser (Chrome) doesn't support that. Maybe there is a setting for that in the ACP. I'll keep my eyes open.
