Sorry for the inconvenience of the downtime!
« on: May 26, 2012, 10:36:00 PM »
What exactly happened I still don't know. All I know is that not only our files but from all my sites seemed to have vanished from the server. The server itself appeared to be working all the time. The webhost wants or wanted to restore everything, but I uploaded the six weeks old backup faster than they did something. Maybe they still do! The database seems to be unharmed.

If they still do restore things I hope they don't touch the database.

They already restored the whole folder. Heaven knows what had happened. I couldn't get a useful answer from the guy I was chatting with. Even their chat software didn't work properly. Maybe it was just 2 x the 13. = the 26.

But I do know now that I shouldn't be too lazy to make backups very often. You never know what can happen!
