JF can u use this 1

A local lawyer addressing the court? As often and as many of us have been threatened with legal action it just has to be in our header as well - so we don't forget, even if we could. :-[

Minor mistake that it is probably meant to depict the classroom experience of farang teachers. Something only she could handle:

Jackets are cool too.  Take this one for example.  Someone said he was spotted just outside a cinema when this photo was taken.

Is there a shirt with blood stains on it by any chance?  That would be appropriate for this discussion

Like this?

No, Saf, it can't be a white T-shirt! People can see too easily when it's not clean, for example when it's blood-stained. And white does reflect the light, and it's difficult to hide when the cops are after you. So, it's gotta be a black T-shirt! 8)

Is this one any good?

Or one like this - with the Korat-typical office attire of foreign lawyers?

Sorry, didn't find one with a black T-shirt. :-[

P.S. Here's one in green and white.

Is there a smiley that portrays some one threatening to sue some one?

There are several tiny, small and medium threats of getting hit by a judge's gravel:

But a smiley depicting the dimensions of  legal threats we're exposed to in Korat I couldn't find. Maybe somebody can draw one. In my imagination I can picture a huge gravel held up high in the air with a group of tiny scared looking smileys beneath. ;)

Sorry I myself just don't feel talented in drawing and design! :-[

Jesus Christ, I almost shi.t my pants from laughing so hard.  Is there a smiley that portrays some one threatening to sue some one?

It just seemed appropriate for today's date, especially with the movies all being shown on True:

A new smiley has been suggested by Saf, one I fully agree we need on this board. Because it helps keeping communication and expression of emotions short. Now DD doesn't need to write forty times the word "stab" anymore. Now he can just click that emoticon 40x and the whole of Korat, Isaan, Thailand etc. will understand how he feels, what message he wants to confer: :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab :stab

Enjoy the use when you feel like. :salute

Might be a little too emphatic; I guess we keep both, it's not appropriate as a general laughing/grinning smiley.

So, I uploaded a few I had on my PC and some of yours.

Tell me which you don't like. We should take some of the old off, but I gotta find out first how to make them only not show over the post window anymore, but still do work in the old posts.

New smileys are  :cussing  :fart  :hunter  :cheers  :rclxs0  :salute  :thankyou  :violent  :wai  :uhm  :spin  :punch  :evilgrin  :drink  ()

OK, cool, something positive will come out of it and looks like it already has.

Never bothered about the smileys of this board before. But now I had a look into the ACP and found that there are already different sets of smileys installed. Every member can select in

Profile => Account Settings => Look and Layout => Current Smiley Set:

which smiley set he wants to see.

At the moment one can choose from  default, Classic, Aaron, Akyhne and sarcasmics.

But those are all the same smileys just in slightly different appearances. Probably not useful. So I turned that off again. I will look for additional smileys.

This site seems to be pretty popular with people using their own ones and also I see lots of the ones on this site in other big forum's standard collections. It's a free site too, so I think it's OK for web masters etc to use them, as well as individuals, and it has some good animated ones too. Sure you could pick a few from this site.

For example:

http://www.mysmiley.net/

Loads of them. However, don't know what other posters think.

Could do with a bigger choice of smileys admin, couldn't find the cynical emoticon.  :)

Show me what you like and I try to install it.
