Start a reply and then scroll down and hit the quote button next to the quote you want.  You might have to edit it down a bit if necessary.

...or hit the quote button above the post you want to quote instead of the reply button to open the reply window. That post will already be quoted in there at the top then:


Nested quotes are turned off. So you won't keep quotes of other posts in the posts you're quoting. Saves confusion, makes the thread easier to follow IMO!

The text etc appearing quoted is in between that parameter line of the quoted post and the (/quote) in square brackets instead of the round I used for demo.
