Moderation Row

New members and guests always post on moderation row to avoid the forum being swamped with SPAM and questionable post content or members being harassed with PMs. Posting on moderation row means their posts need to be approved by moderator or admin first, before they appear to the public. PMs cannot be sent at all then. When I'm sure a new member does not mean harm to the forum with questionable posts or to our members with inappropriate PMs I take these limitations off. That happens often after the first post already.

If a member disturbs the peace on the forum or posts questionable content he'll be put on moderation row as well. Often members understand and then follow forum rules again. Then I take the limitation off again.

But sending insulting PMs under a still unlimited previous double nick, as lately done by someone, is still a grave violation of forum rules.

That abused member account will be deleted, if the owner has not issued an apology within 48 hours.

receiving insulting PMs was one of the reasons i have finished being a member of any forum, years ago on a certain forum it was so bad, the insults were in the normal day to day posts, if you was in the click of friends the posts never got deleted, laugh as you may well do, one time they even arranged for a meet so they could sort out their differences, which of course face to face, that was completely different, they ended up having a pint together.

but the looking tough/clever on the forum was the most important thing to them.
this way of communicating i thank you for. Oppo        :cheers
