Johnnie - am I dreaming? I'm sure I read a line at the end of your 08.31 am today which clearly suggested that Peterda had been stimulated by my 07.59 am post this morning, in posting his 03.51 pm YESTERDAY ! Can you confirm that your comment was posted and withdrawn ? Is this facility normally available ?

Roger, no, I cannot confirm that I ever - even only -  remotely suggested that Peterda had been stimulated by any of your posts. Neither posted and then removed. You definitely must have been dreaming!  :)

The maximum time after posting to allow edit (Courtesy edit wait time) on this forum is set to 15 minutes. This time serves to correct typos, grammar or even change the content of your post. It is available to everyone, you as well. If you want to get into discussions with somebody about what he posted and did change before the courtesy edit wait time has expired, you should have quoted his post. Otherwise you're just out of luck. Therefore you can count on something as posted only when the courtesy edit wait time has expired.

Johnnie - Just to tidy up after my No 38  at 9.05 am and your kind response No 40 at 10.55 am.
I was just surprised to have completed my reply to the last line of your post - before your post was actually finalised.
I didn't realise that I had access to a post, in effect being drafted by someone else.
Sincere thanks for the links though and for all your hard work.

The courtesy edit time applies to posts already published. That's how forums work!

Still you must have dreamed of that alleged reference! :)

Johnnie - then your system doesn't work. I am not a liar. I saw your mistake as you wrote it, i.e. before you edited it out. I had replied to you, as you saw. End of story.
Signs of over eagerness re. balance maybe caused you to do it............. You were so keen to find some other reason for P's confirming his first post. Think first Mate. Be honest as always.
And let my posts out please.

But you're definitely wrong about  content I might have changed when I corrected expression or spelling within the grace period of 15 minutes after posting! No matter how you insist. Don't you understand that it is you who is accusing me? Should I stand for those unsubstantiated accusations? Definitely not! So cut the nonsense, please! 8)

And I cannot pass posts that violate common forum rules! On most other forums you would have got banned from the forum already, not just put on moderation row, and abusive posts put directly into the archive, until you show that you have calmed down. If you have personal criticism of other forum members and their posting you can send them a PM or even anonymously rate their karma.

Not true Johnnie. I read the line on my screen. Words to the effect, it was my post that prompted the second post from Peterda - that was not true. His preceded mine. It was your last line with a space between it and the paragraph 1.
I don't know why you are arguing about this. You made a mistake and corrected it - good on you.
I was just commenting out of surprise that I was able to see and reply to your 'draft' before you had finished it.
BTW, the change was not one of correction or spelling. deletion of a new point and a sentence. Not a big deal anyway. Are you infallible ?
Might there be something wrong with the system - I saw it - or was a rule bent.
I am, whatever else, not a Liar.
Calm down yourself.

Nobody said you're a liar, but you questioned your perception yourself! :)

BTW, I am calm. If I weren't calm,I couldn't run an English language forum in Korat, cast off troll attacks! ;)

You have posted twice 'you definitely must have been dreaming' and 'definitely wrong'. Why ?
The sentence I recalled was deleted entirely, not just 'expression or spelling'.
BTW, I'm calm too.

Are you sure it was not only a mistyped "paragraph" command (enter) that was removed by removing "space"?

You cannot give up, can you? ;)

No Johnnie. Honestly. It was a sentence after a space at the end of the first para.
Maybe it's just an obscure glitch in the software.
I was so surprised and as I said, I had actually answered the point in my reply.
Then it disappeared.
Nothing to worry about anyway.
(And I definitely don't have hacking skills ! LOL) (Or many others).

You asked me the question 06.02. No need to mock my courteous reply.

Roger, you accused me of having written, that "peterda"'s post from yesterday had been stimulated by your post made almost twelve hours after his. Don't you find that confusing yourself? To my knowledge time goes on, not backwards. ;)

There is no other way than taking this with humor!  :)

Precisely. That's why I thought you had made an obvious mistake. That didn't matter. But I don't understand how I saw the draft and wanted to check it out. End of.
