The best I could find until now is a ticker that shows the rates from THB to other currencies. I would prefer it the other way 'round, as we're all still thinking in our home currencies, the currency the money comes in or is left on the iron reserve.

I removed the non-performing currency converter script, and the weather widget loads fine. :)

I'll look for a better currency converter widget. Problem is the format, they're all blocks instead of banner-shape.

For almost the last hour the widgets have been 'loading'.

The exchangerate widget does come in with the top line only on the forum, and directly not at all (hosted at Godaddy), accuweater comes in ok here, but slow due to the error in the script of the exchange rate widget. Maybe the CIA or NSA or whoever isn't happy with the exchange rate of the USD and wants to keep it secret.

My Blogger sites also come in quite slow today. Could CIA and NSA have problems reading fast enough, so they let the rest of the world wait until they're done reading? ;D

Many thanks JF.  I'll go have words with the PM and the BOT Governor now...if I can just get past the several thousand protesters.

I downloaded and installed it anew with "fixed location" checked. Might have forgotten to set that the first time. :-[

Very useful. Could the weather report be changed to show Korat instead of Bangkok?
You have to accept third party cookies and it shows korat  :salute

I like the currency converter - even more if it showed a few more bht to the pound  ;)

No problem, just tell the Thai PM and the Governor of the Bank of Thailand (BOT), Prasarn Trairatvorakul, to stimulate a cash outflow from the country, to keep selling THB to drive the exchange rate up. :)

When I installed it, it was set to Nakhon Ratchasima, TH, and still does show that on my PC. I think you have to adjust it yourself once, so your browser can store it in a cookie to show in future.

Yes, I tried that on another browser, where it showed Prae,TH. Click on the widget, and enter "Nakhon Ratchasima, TH" in the search box of the website that opens, click the "search" icon on the right (magnifying glass). Next time you open the forum, it will show the weather for Korat on your PC.

If you don't adjust it, it will show the place your IP comes from.

You might have noticed the new widgets at the bottom of the forum. Any suggestions what else could be interesting to add?
