Karma display
« on: June 29, 2010, 09:54:40 AM »
I changed the Karma display to total, not + and - anymore, because some felt that others seemed to have expressed there personal preferences way too much. So now a [smite] just lowers the score instead of showing up as -, unless somebody reached a total negative score which I hope will never happen.

JF - my karma thingy doesn't seem to be the same as everybody else's. Did I break it?? Sorry if I screwed it up by mistake.

It's just natural that you can't vote on your own Karma. But you can applaud or smite everybody else. They probably did that to keep conceited people from applauding themselves all the time.  ;D

It is set to minimum 25 posts before a new member can vote, so people don't do multiple registrations just for letting their "second egos" vote for them. And there is a waiting period of 24 hours before one can vote for the same again.
