The only way to get the work really done the way I want it, is by doing it myself. I'm sick of telling them afterwards, that once again they did not do it the way it was to be done. The last "electrician", who graduated after 5 years from Technic Korat and was supposed to only bridge the wiring that was in a wall now removed, screwed up so badly, that I actually don't know how to redo his mistakes anymore! Important cables have been cut instead of just moved above the ceiling. Now I would have to install them anew on walls around the room instead of inside the wall, as before. Would have been so easy to just bridge them above the new ceiling, before he sealed that. The guy said "Yes, yes, I will do like that!" before the job, but he didn't do like that at all.

small minded people

While we are on the subject of painting, Mrs.t has started painting the gate in the drive, i stood and watched for about twenty minutes 4 people stopped to comment in that time. the first was a large well over weight lady, she said, why don't you pay someone to do that work for you, which she replied, work keeps my weight down, she didn't like that and walked of mumbling. Then this guy that's painted for us in the past  :-[ said, i can do that for you, she replied i want the paint on the gate not all over the floor.

The point i'm making is the wife of a farang in some peoples eyes should not be working, god forbid, they are too rich to work and by doing it yourself you are taking the work away from the people, apart from that some think you are kee-nee-el.

Can anyone recommend a good painter as i'm going to need the house painted at the end of the year ?  I'm looking for a real painter not just someone who can hold a paintbrush lol

Thanks.
