Welcome to the "Hub of Brexit Retirees"

What a great idea, British workers encouraged to retire to Thailand after Brexit and snap up a £60k 20-year residency permit. But watch out guys, not in the brexit. your state pension could be adjusted any time, not a nice thought for those that rely on their pension to cover their visa requirements. Might not be a bad idea to start now, saving all you can, just in case :-[

Seems unfair when some have worked and paid most of their life, that expats who retired when the basic rate was £67.50 a week in 2000 still get that, rather than the £122.30 which will be received by others who retired that year from today

The other pitfuls: Don't play bridge, you'll need good eyes, so you can see the traffic coming towards you on the wrong side of the road, mind that drain cover it don't look safe you could go on and on. reports, A Thai official claims Brexit offers UK expats a 'good opportunity' to move,
Government agency Thailand Elite offers 5, 10 and 20 year packages.

Why would you go to that expense when you can do the yearly extension for just 1,900 bht.
Living in Thailand can be cheap, just don't get sick without insurance which they have not mentioned.
