Britain's new 3 billion pound warship has a leak
« on: December 19, 2017, 09:02:27 PM »

All over the media like a rash is the story that Britain's new 3 billion pound warship has a leak, a report from todayonline.com. states that it is hailed as Britain's most advanced military vessel. Then The Sun newspaper reported that the 280-metre (920-foot) warship was letting in 200 liters of water every hour and the fix would cost millions of pounds. i suppose that 's taxpayers money :-[ The ship that took some eight years to build, had an issue when it was handed over by manufacturers.

Here's the laugh it goes on to say. "When you get a brand new car not everything's perfect, you have to send it back to the garage to get a few things tweaked. This is exactly in that bracket."  Off course it's not, a car don't cost 3 billion pound. What nonsense.

But all ships leak don't they, 200 liters of water every hour, i don't think that's an awful amount for a vessel of that size, a pump would soon sort that out. but the heading makes good news  ;)
