Aye. I shot those purposely at 2.8F to blur the background. I was trying to focus more on the individual and not direct attention to the heavily colored backgrounds at this tournament, not to mention the occasional Thai going to town on a booger in the background...I think you know what I mean. The place was totally overdone with the decoration and sponsor ads. Good point, though. I got some other fantastic shots at F6-F11 stop. The sensor on this camera has an amazing dynamic range. I was considering a Sony, but the Sony's are just too toyish for me. They don't fit well in my hand, and the lack of lenses for them leaves me wanting more. I can't understand why Sony still sticks with SD cards when they were the ones who pioneered the XQD memory cards which are faster at 400mb/s transfer rate. Battery life is another issue with the Sony. I can hardly wait to take some landscape shots.
