Over a thousand soldiers have been drafted in since yesterday afternoon to help with the rescue efforts at Tham Luang Cave.Three diving teams are rotating inside the cave, once a team heads towards the last cave chamber all communications are cut off. Officials trying to get pumps & communication equipment further down the cave. There are also 12 teams above the cave, checking alternative entrances and holes that lead to the cave. Various holes have been found that supply oxygen but are too small to enter.latest info from Florian Witulski is that, Thai soldiers found an opening of 50x30cm that might lead inside the Tham Luang cave from above.Three foreign divers are supposed to join the seal rescue teams on the next rotation. Rescue teams believe that the teenagers could still be found alive.Cave experts estimate that the group of teenage boys could survive for five days if trapped at a dry spot. After 24 hours hypothermia is the biggest threat. พระพุทธเจ้า please help these lost children and reunite them with their loved ones and families.

afraid not Kev the whole world is waiting

British rescue worker in Chiang Rai gives update to Thai TV   https://www.facebook.com/WorkpointNews/videos/668469840188964/

while people rally round with help/advice and from countries afar, prayers are said by most people, but that doesn't stop the hateful fakebook posts being reported by the media, leave to your imagination,i would not belittle myself to repeat them in their act of intentionally causing distress to others by instigating hostility with unpleasant exchanges. bit like forums they study anything you say trying to turn it into something else, the more beautiful and pure a thing is,the more satisfying it is for them to corrupt it. stay cool guys cap locks off.

although we live in hope,as time goes by we cannot ignore the facts of the kids trapped in the cave. the tourists that was trapped in the same cave back along were in there for five days, the human body needs food and water to survive, you can go without food for about three weeks but would typically only last three to four days max a week without water if it's cool conditions, based on observations. drink water that comes dripping off the rocks, might be purified as running through the stone.thankfully hypothermia probably won't be a big issue in the cave as temperatures will be fairly high.just my thoughts.

i have an idea, seeing these kids trapped in the cave are local, there's just a chance they know of a way out and are waiting on the mountain top to be rescued, just a thought.

Local points to littleknown opening in roof of cave

A man has alerted a border patrol police commander about an opening on the ceiling of a cave in Chiang Rai’s Mae Sai district where 12 young footballers and their assistant coach are trapped for the sixth day on Thursday.

Narong Wongtoenjai, 50, of Jongwat village, in Tambon Pongpa, met Pol Colonel Rangsiman Songkrotham and told him about what he described as a big chimney above a cave that is now flooded.

He said that he was a local villager and used to go into the Tham Luang Cave many times. During his trip to the area, he had found the opening that is about two metres wide. Many local people also knew about it.

“I once dropped a stone into the hole and could not hear the stone touch the ground. We also used a fire in an attempt to see the ground, but to no avail, meaning it is very deep,” Narong said.

He gave the commander the exact location of the hole.

It is reported that police accompanied Narong and some villagers to the spot mentioned by Narong.

The search teams are seeking an alternative entrance to the cave in a bid to find the missing groups, as the search operations from the main entrance have been hampered by heavy floods, darkness and thin air.

i am begining to think there is something odd about all this, why are the powers of nature hampering people from carrying out there work, the rescuers have already been hampered by mud, rain and relentless flood inside the 10-kilometer deep Tham Luang Cave, now an electrical fault reportedly took place, injuring an unknown number of rescue workers. resulting in the electricity inside the cave being cut off. the heartbreaking words from a post from khaosodenglish is enough to put tears in ones eyes

At a prayer session Monday evening, some of the boys’ relatives walked inside the cave entrance, their cries echoing off the walls. “My son, come on out! I am waiting for you here!” one woman cried. Another kneeled down near the bicycles and prayed, asking “Where is my child?”

why do a lot of farang men run down thai people

why do a lot of farang men run down thai people, but they marry them, support them and some even give to their wives family,in the way of support.so a lot of moans about the thai people, then reward them. sounds kind of stupid. Thai women are among the most beautiful in the world, sort of like a magnet to the farang, there is many a western men who has fallen under the magical spell of a Thai lady.

Back home if your girlfriend asked for a monthly allowance, would you give it, no of course not,but here in Thailand there tripping over their own feet to part with their hard earned money, even their life savings.

most farangs part with some money or you would be on your own,but do remember you have to survive too. then there's the, sick buffalo, you hear of,mum needs money for hospital operation, dad has been kidnaped, want money for ransom. no different to the farang tales,oh i was an airline pilot back home, before that in the marines.       off course you was your begining to believe your own lies,be careful. :)

i don't give her nothing,a lot of farangs say,yes we believe you. you don't have to,like you don’t have to pay sin sod,but your be very lonely. although  paying something for nothing is always too much when you should be getting it for free. ;D

you could be lucky as a lot of Thai girls have had their hearts broken badly by a Thai man,so if you take care of her kids respect her,if she is a religious girl you have even more of a chance, even with the overweight unattractive guy she will see the good in you over time, hence a long term relationship.

part of the attraction of Thailand is westerners are so different to thais in so many ways, thai women are not cute versions of western women, they are completly different. take time to learn the language and culture and enjoy yourself. but remember they bite back.

all that glitters is not gold, the attractive external appearance of something is not a reliable indication of its true nature :wai

there is something evil about that cave, just look at the mountains over it,i wouldnt be to hasty making a film or tourist attraction, just yet,you mark my words, the mountains that have held the world’s attention, and held 13 people prisoner, looks evil and a life was lost in there. RIP. the evil spirits could not beat the coach as he meditated with the boys as the power of budah being the stronger to the evil.near to the entrance is a shrine to a mythical princess whose spirit is said to inhabit the caverns below.Jao Mae Nang Non shrine.

The legend goes that in ancient times a beautiful princess fell in love with a stable boy and became pregnant.knowing their love was forbidden, they fled and eventually settled in the cave to rest.when the stable boy went out in search of food,he was caught by the princess father's army and killed.distraught, the princess stabbed herself and bled to death in the cave.the legend says it is her blood that became the water that flows through the cave, while her body is the surrounding mountains. my theory is the coach knowing this meditated and prayed appealed to the spirits for guidance as it's a miracle the boys ever made it out.even the dangerous female spirits,or Jao Mae as they are known, can also help humans who appeal to them.

monks and hermits are known to meditate in caves in Thailand they are thought to hold a special kind of power that those who enter can accumulate.people try to appease the spirits or the gods that may inhabit the caves.visitors are advised to worship her before venturing inside,or risk being killed by floods.you have been warned.pay respect.

excellent info about the cave, the gateway to another world

after all the trouble to save lives, why put them straight back in danger, the people of Ubon have gone to the Thai media to name and shame their local authority who have ignored their pleas to do something about a bunch of hanging wires. as you can see they have to duck under to get through,so the Thai media https://www.sanook.com/news/7164654/ might get something done.i wouldn't touch those wires even with a 10 foot long pole.
