My troubled email
« on: March 11, 2019, 12:33:40 PM »
I just received this.  I could compile a long list of reasons for not taking up their offer.  Maybe it is sufficient to inquire "How is the weather in the UK just now?"

Will you move back to the UK one day?

The financial implications of moving back to the UK is something we get asked about a lot here at Expat Gurus. Even knowing what taxes you will be liable for upon your return can be very confusing and circumstantial.

If you intend on moving back to the UK, whether it be in the near or distant future it is never too early to start planning your finances. To help try and provide some clarity, our Gurus have answered some of your most frequently asked questions in the link below.

We are also offering a free personalised repatriation plan from one of our Gurus for the first 50 people who fill in our form. Alternatively, you can reply to this email with any questions you have regarding repatriation

Will anybody still be interested in moving back to what is going to remain of the UK, if tomorrow the outcome will be a "no-deal Brexit" and more bankers and businesses run to the mainland Europe? Except Roger of course! ;)

Brexit, or no Brexit is unlikely to have any effect on the UK weather so I have no desire to return to the UK. However, I would not be surprised to see Remainers claiming that Brexit will result in worse weather.  I noticed that Thaiga has just posted on The Brexit, a long list of financial institutions about to leave the UK.  This includes Goldman Sachs who currently have a spot of bother in Malaysia: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/dec/17/1mdb-scandal-malaysia-files-charges-against-goldman-sachs . The UK will be better off without these banksters.
