LYNGSAT Satellite TV Service
« on: May 27, 2015, 08:52:36 AM »
Hi again,

Is anybody in the Korat Area using the LYNGSAT Satellite service for TV viewing?

They have a once off set up Fee and which of course includes the receiver box and dish on roof - then NO ongoing payments.

Our next door neighbours already use the Lyngsat service and appear very happy with the TV reepetion and choice of channels ( especially Euro TV channels )

If anyone has any thing they would like to share here that would be muchly appreciated.

Thanx in advance,

Buffy...

Hi there KC,

So our approach was through a 'very local' shop ( just a reseller who also installs ) and to set up for 1 x Receiver for 1x TV is about 6,500 Baht ( includes 2 x Satellite Dishes ( 1 for Thai TV and one for Rest of World ).

The Lyngsat Website is:  http://www.lyngsat.com/

We just clicked on 'Free TV' and the Region to see what channels are available :)

Hope this helps if even a wee bit!

I just came across this thread and wondered if anyone has any update?
I have been using DTV cable for about 6 or 7 years and recently have had a lot of problems and poor service. Was 3600 baht for a year and get one month free but they chop and change and now we have had service outrage since a recent bad storm and they have not come to fix it.
Interested in hearing anyone's suggestion to get some half decent TV.
