Looking for good hospital in Korat for my pregnant wife
« on: June 03, 2013, 09:30:33 PM »
I have visited Korat several times with my wife. Now I am a full time resident in Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima district, but still a newbie to this city. I am looking for a good hospital for prenatal care. I been searching that Bangkok-Ratchasima hospital and St' Mary is quite ok, pay a bit more, but don't have to wait in long queue for a day just to get 10 minutes talk with doctor like those in Maharaj hospital.
Any suggestion?

Not having any experience with babies and pregnant women perhaps I am not the one to comment, but I think it is a case of what you pay for is what you get. If she goes for the 30b scheme she will be treated the same as all others on that scheme, if you pay a lot of money at the Bangkok Ratchasima hospital you get appointments and the Doctors do seem to stick to the appointed time. As for the actual delivery, I would go again for the BR hospital as heavens above she may need emergency theatre they do have the facilities and doctors on hand to do the job.
