British oriented foods
« on: May 29, 2012, 12:23:28 PM »
I've just quickly skimmed through several topics on western food in Korat , many posts seem to be laced with work permit jargon and negative comments , so are there any places in the Korat area where I can actually buy British oriented foods , other than the ubiquitous Tesco and Bic c stores?

Nookie Bear will take your order and drop it off for you. Call him and he'll email you a price list - a very comprehensive price list.

Nookie sells a ranger of rubies for the freezer. I had a Phal yesterday. Just added a couple of green chillies to make sure it was hot enough! This morning I experienced the traditional 'shoot that was hot!' for the first time in years. They aren't cheap but they are good.

Apart from Nookie's service, anyone prepared to venture to darkest Pattaya will find several shops selling Western food and farang suppliers of bacon, pies bread and all manner of stuff. As I said before, check out Nookie's list for an idea of what's on offer. The bacon he gets for me, middle cut, is excellent.
