Best way for sending parcels from Korat to Europe

A friend of mine asked for the best way of sending parcels from Korat to Europe, and where to drop them: at a Post Office, Fed Ex, DHL, UPS etc. and where those are located. I haven't send a parcel for a long time. Last time I did at a Post Office. But now Korat has alot more companies delivering parcels. Any recommendations?

The PO courier service is good. expensive for very light parcels but for those they offer registered mail.

Fedex and DHL are expensive and, some would suggest, not as secure as PO EMS. Fedex is facing the flyover a few doors from Siam Thani. DHL are, think, somewhere along Mittrapap. The service at both is, to be kind, laid back.

It's in a row of shop houses just after Tesco. There's a yellow DHL sign on the front of the building. Drive slowly because it's often obscured by parked vehicles.

DHL will pic up from your home for a fee.

Remember the special rate for UK Embassy Hong Kong!  ;)

I just had a feeling about it!  ;)

I drove all the way there a few months ago, forgetting to take the package. They agreed to collect from my home later for a small fee and gave me the DHL plastic envelope to take with me and write the address on. worked well.

They may offer to send the package by urgent delivery for a small extras fee too but the saving is only a couple of days.

 Thanks saf,but im about 3 times the distance you are from korat,i should imagine the pick up from home   
 would be a bit exspensive.

A couple of weeks I think. The passport comes from the UK a few days after you get a receipt from HK for your money.
