The great plastic chair, it may be the most popular chair in history, the all plastic, all weather, inexpensive, molded stacking chair, this humble piece of tacky furniture that you wouldn't give it house room now would you. There's no need to paint it and it's probably the world’s cheapest seat that doesn't dent or corrode. Being so light makes it easy to move around whether your young or old.

You can even sit on one while taking a shower if your a bit dodgy on yer ole pins. The best way to clean your resin furniture with a wet sponge dipped in baking soda. Wipe using circular motions, then rinse well. To bring colour and shine back to faded plastic and patio furniture they say spray WD-40 directly on the surface and wipe with a clean, dry cloth. You’ll be surprised at the results.

Is there anyone out there that's never sat on one, the guy in the clip below wish he never, listen to the chair starting to crack @ 0:10 in the vid then it finally collapses @ 0:21  No it's not funny but hilarious.

they are cheap, stack well and very handy for most uses, accept standing on,i fell through one once, putting up a curtain rail, nasty gash i got. any chair you fall asleep on you could fall off. the plastic stalls with no back on are the worst, very wobbly.

The great plastic chair

The great plastic chair, can be seen everywhere. parties, weddings, at the wat, food vendors use them, i might be right in saying every home has one or more. where ever you go in thailand you are likely to see them. Choice of colours, blue, red, white or urky brown.

But how safe are they, in the world of overweight westerners, i would think not very safe at all. A security guard died in the early hours of Saturday morning in Bangkok after he fell down a drain as he sat taking a nap at work, on a plastic chair.
