Sex video filmed outside headquarters of Saudi religious police

Riyadh - In an effort to defame the name of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in Saudi Arabia, a sex video was filmed directly outside the headquarters of the religious police.
In one of the most bizarre tales ever to emerge from Saudi Arabia, three Saudi men decided to film a sex video directly outside the headquarters of the feared religious police. The three men filmed themselves having sex with a woman in a public place, an offence that could result in the woman being stoned to death under strict Saudi sharia law.
According to Emirates 247 the trio decided to make the film in front of the sign indicating the headquarters of the religious police, in order to defame the name of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice. The incident occurred late at night, but it was only part way through filming that the men realised they were in turn being filmed by a security camera.
Prior to fleeing the scene they smashed the security camera but failed to damage the film inside, leading to the arrest of two of them when they were identified. The third man and the woman are now being sought by police. The price they could pay for their antics will be severe, as segregation of the sexes is strictly enforced within the Kingdom, and even rape victims can be thrown into prison or stoned to death for having sex outside marriage.
Previously, Digital Journal reported that the religious police, known as the Hai'a, are receiving more complaints than ever before due to the harsh morality they impose whilst standing accused of religious hypocrisy. As the Hai'a attempt to improve their image the release of a sex tape with the sign of the religious police in the background would have brought severe embarrassment to the commission.
In recent years, more security cameras have been installed within Saudi by the religious police. Religious Watch reported that General Abdel Aziz al-Hamin, Chief of the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice said the increased use of security cameras was implemented as "Our objective is to correct the mistakes made by some youths, in order to protect their moral integrity."
