Seven major retailers agree to cheap dishes at food courts

Seven modern trade operators have responded to a Commerce Ministry request by providing 10 cheap fast-food dishes at their food courts nationwide, starting this month and running until June, to help lower the cost of living.
In response to many complaints about high food prices, Commerce Minister General Chatchai Sarikulya Friday met with the modern traders to ask them to help cash-strapped consumers.

Central Group, The Mall, Tops, MBK, Makro, Tesco Lotus and Big C agreed to provide the 10 cheap dishes.
