Only in Thailand
« on: November 08, 2016, 02:00:11 PM »
I see the uk tabloids have a bit of interest lately in thailand, can't say i blame them, must be boring having 3 meals of brexit shoved in your face every day.

The story from mirror.co.uk. might be a big deal to the uk readers, but old hat to us that live here. Here's the link anyway to go with the piccy below.

Six school kids cram onto one tiny moped without helmets on their way to class

Why don't the "Mirror"-readers start collecting and donating money to every school in Thailand to buy schoolbusses? Just calling for the cops to enforce the laws about wearing helmets and not overpacking a motorcycle doesn't help those kids to get to their school and get at least some education! Obviously the schools cannot always be located within walking distance.
Fun is the one thing that money can't buy

Only in Thailand  ::) Two chickens got married for valentines day, these were no ordinary chickens they were fighting cocks  :o one worth one million bht. reports tnamcot.com   The owners of the bride were from the province of Nakon Ratchasima. The 300,000 bht dowry was laid out and both chickens were decorated with one baht weight gold necklaces.

Anucha said it had been a big responsibility to hold the groom but his father had taught him all he needed to know about how to hold a cock  :o
