Europe cut off
« on: February 27, 2019, 10:41:45 PM »
Thai Airways have cancelled all flights to ,Europe due to the India/Pakistan skirmishes. So Thailand has been far more successful in separating itself from Europe than Britain has.

If the old only could, if the young only knew.

better wait a few days until a safe way can be found, instead of challenging disasters, both Thai Airways and Brit politicians. ;)

TT ''Thailand has been far more successful in separating itself from Europe than Britain''.
You can say that again and again  :lol

Johnnie - apparently it's difficult to re-route all those flights passing over Pakistan and it may take some time.
Regarding the Brexit bit - the EU should be careful too, when challenging disaster.

Of course you aren't serious, Roger?  ;D

"The EU challenging disaster"? Isn't it the UK who wants to "break away" from a union it has joined and was supported by before, who started an action, that was not well thought of and prepared? As I said above, it's fine with me and probably the vast majority of people in the 27 remaining member states to let the nagging Brits go, it's good for the peace of the other 27. But do those 27 now have to surrender to those island politicians in the terms of the "divorce"? The damage of a no-deal Brexit will be much harder on the UK than on any of the other 27 member states. Threatening the latter with a disaster isn't just a little out of proportion. ;D

Now why did Thai Airways also cancel the flights to and from London? Did the Thais cut off the UK, too? ;)

That would be a disaster, if all Brits suffering expat woes had to remain in Thailand forever... ;D
