elth 'n safety

Our Soi is being dug up for the installation of a new sewer.  The attached photo was taken outside our house the other day.  How many elth 'n safety infringements can you spot?

Maybe that guy is pooping in the trench. He could have waited until the sewage system was finished. The obvious H&S issues:-
- Nobody wearing hard hats
- Nobody wearing high visibility vests
- Guy on right hand side wearing flip flops, not boots
- Guy in trench not wearing protective gloves
- Guy in trench not wearing goggles
- Small Soi other side of trench not coned off
- Method of lifting pipe looks suspect

On my current project this would result in people being removed from site.  The sewage job is a local government run project so it is disappointing to see they are not enforcing any safety standards.  Maybe one day...

That actually happened.  Several months ago a billboard fell on a bunch of Thais near Saveone. A new one has already been constructed.  Let's hope it wasn't as poorly constructed at the last one.  ;D

Good one, Thaiga. I hope Thai surgeons are as skilled at stitching toes back on as they are in re-attaching penises.
