BT to scrap half of remaining call boxes

When I were a lad if there was ever the remote need to make a phone call you had to walk to the end of the street to one of the nice red phone boxes. Now BT. Are going to scrap half of the remaining boxes. I remember you could tap the numbers in a sequence to get free calls

Anyone who goes to a psychiatrist should have his head examined.

some of the things i miss .. the old telephone box .. the old london bus .. the old time copper .. evening all dixon of dockgreen style .. gone forever  :-[
