Being as old as you feel
« on: November 21, 2018, 08:28:12 AM »
''They say you're as old as you feel - but that's the trouble isn't it ?''

Back to this subject - I've been listening to 'The Archers', 'an everyday story of countryfolk' for more than 60 years! (I know that's sad).

Brian Aldridge, (maybe the local Squire), finishes yesterday's episode with the words, ''I may be 75, but the old magic is still there''.

So inspired, I'll jump on my bike and ride to Laemsing this morning. GL.

Hi Roger,
I gave up listening to the Archers when I started wearing long trousers.  I see snippets in the press from time to time about the Archers.  I get the impression that the programme is now highly PC with more homosexuals per square mile in Ambridge than there are in Brighton.
If the old only could, if the young only knew.
